First time all season I think we actually got a chance to see how a complete Raptors team could play... I'll even eat a little crow on Carroll's play today... If he can stay healthy and give that on a consistent basis maybe, just maybe he could worth his contract...

Big game by carroll. Great game on defense and hit some big shots. Ran in transition and got his buckets. He did everything he's paid to do and did it amazing tonite.

I'll be here all night to post. I'm amped.

Demarre Carroll was phenomenal. MVP of the game for sure.

Overall very well rounded game. Professional approach. Now let's replicate it for game 3 on Saturday.

DD takes one for the team. Our 2nd unit is probably the best in the league (GS IMO is close 2nd). Lowry gets to start the 2nd quarter/4th quarter with that unit against other bench units. Pacers probably have the worst bench in the league.

DD on the other hand has to play mostly against starting units, and 3-4 minutes without Lowry who is our best player.

7-19 FGs ... -1 +/-, only negative as a starter and he played 36 minutes

Typical Derozan (#notmaxworthy)

Oh hush, KD went 7-33 the other night. It's the playoffs, defence is far more intense. Expect inefficiency. Playoffs are about winning, not stats.

He had 2-3 passes that led to the assist that ended up with a three due to the double being brought to him.

His shot selection has turned back a little due to him forcing it a bit to 13-14, 14-15 Demar (which is mental to me), but his ability to play out of the double is creating offense.

Clearly we don't need him in the RS lol. If he can do what he did tonite in the playoffs consistently he's easily worth his contract. This is what he was doing for ATL last year,

I don't know how you play defensively much better than that. Carroll on George. Bigs protecting the paint with verticality. Guards pesky. Elite defensive effort tonight. Super impressive.

A lot of fans just see PPG and assume that the player is good or bad. Heck, Sportsnet just lead with saying "Demar Derozan silences his critics." Really? Did he? After starting the game 3-3 and the first quarter 4-8, he only made 3 more shots. One of those shots was with less than a minute left in the game and the Pacers had already pulled their starters. Plus, he was benched basically the whole 4th.

Strong post content to username.

Stats hardly tell the full story.

You can argue that his impact is that he draws a lot of attention and frees up guys, but we've played better without him on the floor. Our biggest leads were when he wasn't out there. He keeps talking about making adjustments and implying that he's going to show the 'haters'. He isn't doing anything. He got 2 rebs, 3 assists and 2 tov. Hardly a great stat line from a guy who has the ball 25+% USG rate.

We won. That's all that matters. Just saying that Demar hasn't really adjusted his game at all this series. We've played a lot better with him off the floor. That shouldn't be the situation with your 2nd best player. At least not in 3 games in the playoffs. He has to find another way to impact the game other than jacking up shots. We will need him in the next series.

He's the best player in the series, and without him the Pacers would be getting blown out 30-40 every game.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Hope someone makes a Carroll defensive highlights video. I want to see it again in all it's glory.
Looking for a new signature. Currently, still evaluating.
