Doesn't his contract expire after this year?

He played foe the 905 near the end of the season, he was trash.

I wouldn't judge a player coming off a significant injury nor will the Raptors.

Well, he wasn't particularly good in college, wasn't good in Summer League, wasn't good in Australia, and wasn't good in the D-League.

"After two somewhat inconsistent seasons to start his Connecticut career, Daniels developed a 3-point shot and improved his defensive play as a junior, putting him firmly on the draft radar. U-Conn was a mediocre team, and while Daniels put up one of his best games of the season in the regular-season finale, his team lost to Louisville and appeared to be on the wrong side of “last in, first out” Bracketology. They’d lose again to Louisville in the Big East Tournament – Daniels played well again – but by that point the Huskies had gathered some momentum and ensured themselves a spot in the NCAA Tournament with two big wins. it was there that Connecticut caught fire, storming to an unexpected National Championship. Daniels was terrific at both ends of the floor, carrying the offense against Iowa State, providing a huge spark against Florida, and defending eventual No. 7 pick Julius Randle in the championship game."

I hope someone in our range surprises in workouts and makes things easier for Masai. I'm not overly confident in any of the guys we could be picking right now. Luwawu sounds good on paper, but has a bit of a slow release due to setting his feet and his off hand is pretty weak. Davis does seem to be more of a small 5 than a PF to play with JV at this point, Jackson looks alright but we have a deep point guard rotation already.
The rest of the point guards and wings available don't look too special and the bigs don't appear to compliment Jonas all that well.
Maybe Korkmaz should get a little more consideration? With Powell being able to defend multiple positions, we might have use for more of a scoring guard prospect. His strengths and weaknesses don't look all that different from Ross, but he appears to be a better passer and have a higher ceiling as a shooter. For an 18 year old kid, he has a terrific shot already. Yes, we would have a glut of shooting guards, but I can't see us having both Demar AND Ross next year. Either we re-sign Demar and trade Ross in a package for a PF(seems likely), or we let Demar walk.

He had a good NCAA tournament in his Junior year, unfortunately that doesn't erase three years of inconsistent, mediocre basketball. Also, I make my own judgments. Anyone who has watched/followed his play since the draft realizes he has no chance of playing in the NBA.

Yep, he looked pretty bad in his limited time with the 905. Would be nice if he became a decent player, but I'm not expecting anything at this point.

You make your own judgements but I guess "anyone" is also along for the ride. We might be able to say his chances of making the Raptors aren't that great but all bets are off if his rights go to another team. The bigger question is does he have the body to survive the punishment because, and I make my own judgements, he clearly has the the required skills.

Chriss has that game that reminds me of a kid version of McGrady. Liking that the best out of the PF prospects.

T Mac had way better handles and fluidity even in high school. That's not a knock on Chriss, just a statement of how amazing a talent Tracy was. To be fair, I'm struggling to think of a similar player at the moment and Randolph seems a lazy comparision.

Anthony or Zac? Oh you mean Anthony. Right now the knock on him is foul trouble. As a project he is still learning the game. A year with Mermuys is what would likely happen to Chriss.

From Seattle Times.

On Chriss) “I hate to use the word potential, but he’s got a lot of potential. He’s still filling out physically, but he’s got good hands. Really explosive. Really good length. His jump shot is improving, but he still mainly relies on playing above the rim. But that’s the great part about him. People love his athleticism. You can get fooled by it a little bit when a guy dunks and he has that length, you’re almost like alright put some muscle on him and put some pounds on him and this guy could be tremendous. But I think defensively that’s where his length, his awareness and his timing – he has a lot of intangibles as well as the physical tools that can only get better – that makes him an interesting player just because he can alter shots and block shots. He can rebound. So he’s got a high ceiling. One could make point that his ball handling could improve and that could make him more of a threat on the perimeter if he moved out there or give him the ability to be the stretch four. And he’s got to improve his ability to be a slasher. Work on his body and all of that stuff. He’s got to get more physical. In looking at him, I saw some Hakim Warrick. I can see that. People are making him out to be much more than down the road, but I think realistically we’ll see what happens. He’s another one who has a high ceiling because he hasn’t played the game that long, but there’s a lot to like. But do you want to draft on potential or what does he got now.”

Hell I'd pick Chriss at 9 and Dejounte Murray at 27. Stick em both on 905.
