His stats last year and this year are really similar per minute. He's a very useful player to have on your bench. It's unfortunate that Clifford and he weren't able to work out their differences.

from the Offseason Thread

rallydurham wrote:Cp3 shoots a SIGNIFICANTLY higher percentage than thomas. Hes over 51% eFg for his career. Isiah was 46% eFg

Cp3 86% to 76% ft

Cp3 has a 4:1 ast/to ratio. Isiah isn't even close he's like 2.6:1

Isiah was 29% from 3s. Cp3 is 36.5%

Advanced analytics show cp3 consistently has opponents shooting the most below their season avg of any pg.

I mean cp3 is a god. He is comparable to stockton.

Isiah was a good player. Maybe not everyone here is old enough to have seen isiah play but if you had they aren't close. He was a gunner. Cp3 is a legend

Isiah was better than Stockton as an all-around PG.

Looking at 3PT% and EFG% for two players that played 25 years apart is meaningless. Players in the 80s didnt shoot a lot of 3s and didnt grow up shooting 3s. Its no mystery why those numbers would be lower for Thomas. Also, the last 2-3 years of Thomas' career he played with a lot of injuries and was a shadow of his former self. Those years dragged down his %s.

Jason Terry guarantees a Rockets win... he goes 0-8 0 points. LOL.

The Raptors are in bad form. Their two all-stars Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan aren't performing well, they do a lot turnovers, scoring rarely in the series so far. If we will advance to the Eastern Conference SF, I would like to face up the Raptors. They are showing discontinuity and we can take it to our advantage if we'll stay focused, in case we'll play against them in the ECSF.

Actually that was a good prediction. The Clippers had a history of choking. They lost to the Rockets last year after being up 3-1.

Wonder if the Warriors might look to replace Walton with Assistant Coach Silas?

The Spurs are different animal in PO. Kawhi is torching KD on both ends.

Kawhi + LMA = New Spurs. They are not the future. They are the present.

Who thought a round 2 playoff game would be so boring. Pop may need to rest the big 3 the rest of the series to make it more interesting.

Wow... OKC at rock bottom and Spurs firing on cylinders they didn't even know they had. Insane.

It's games like this where I legitimately think Toronto often wins games despite DeRozan, not because of him. How on earth does this guy average 4apg? I swear I never see this dude pass... he's 10-31 from the floor
