Well as the only team to score more than 1 win the entire season on the Warriors they still don't have a chance in hell, dubs move the ball too well and play unselfish basketball, and feed the hot hand, there's literally no heroball found. On any given night anyone on that roster can contribute buckets. Spurs on steroids.

That Lillard 3 from 1km away with 10 sec left.

Each team was responding to the other with 3's and contested buckets.

Then Curry happened ...

This is ridiculous. Off the dribble, falling away with a hand in his face and he cans it. It's really not fair that a guy can do that so effortless, my jaw was on the ground for minutes after Steph made that shot.

Steff is an elite ball-handler and rare shooter. It's a deadly combo. Once he catches the zone, he stays there, and just makes shots and plays of many varieties. And he's always mindful to find team mates. His 3 point range is insane, he takes 35 footers with ease. It was just some other realm basketball I watched last night with Steff. And he came off of the bench after not playing for what, 10 days? Insane.

I think my favorite play he made in that game was the one where he was dribbling between his legs for about 5-10 seconds, then launched a ridiculous left-handed pass to a cutter for the dunk.

Last year during the playoffs I made a statement that caught some heat. I said that if you let me have my choice of any point guard, in the history of the league, to put on my team right now, I would take Curry over everyone, including Magic and Oscar.

Of course, if Magic played today, I think he'd be used as a small ball point-power-forward, with a bunch of shooters and finishers around him. Magic would not be able to defend the best guards on the perimeter today. Back in the 80s, you didnt have to pick a guy up until he crossed over the 3pt line. Can you imagine Magic trying to run thru 100 screens on the perimeter while trying to lock and trail on Curry or Klay or Lillard and CJ or Kemba and Lin? Magic would be the elite version of Draymond Green.

Everything about this story has to drive Jordan up the wall. Under Armour swooping in and signing Curry away from Nike right before he hit the big time. And how did they do it? They used another North Carolina guy in Kent Bazemore as their stealth marketing agent.

I'm really happy for Curry, Bazemore, etc. but I am tired of other teams profiting and winning championships off of guys that grew up in NC while we struggle. It's time for the true Mecca of basketball to join the ranks of the NBA elite and bring trophies back to the old north state.

That one was amazing also, just so much beautiful basketball packed into those last 5 minutes. Totally worth losing sleep and study time over lol

You and me both... I really don't think Davis stays healthy enough, and honestly I don't think he's ever been a top 5 player in the league yet no matter how much people try to push that.

ADs injury issues are a good example of why players shoulsnt put on too much muscle too fast. I cringe whenever someone says they want a player to gain 20 pounds of muscle in the off-season.

Anthony Davis is a transcendent talent. He'll resolve his injury issues just like Curry did and win multiple MVP awards, if the Pelicans can get their stuff together. The jury is definitely still out on that though. It's a damn shame he isn't in Charlotte, we wouldn't have screwed up nearly as bad as New Orleans has. So many damn near misses, it's frustrating how important luck is when it comes to building a contender.

It's why I wish the NBA would stop being cute and just get rid of the lottery and give the top pick to the worst team. Yes, it rewards losing but it doesn't matter how many top picks you land if your organization sucks. The Kings, Bobcats, the Cavs sans Lebron, the Clippers before lucking into CP3, the Warriors before new ownership, Wolves before the Love trade, etc. are all testaments to this. It's better that the league stops pretending that it come foresee years out when an elite superstar caliber player will be draft eligible. The earliest this actually happens is after a few months of seeing guys go up against good competition in organized settings, i.e. not all-star games.

I admire that the lottery tries to limit the reward to losing, but it does more harm to the league than good. A smart commissioner would realize this and make changes. Thankfully, eough smoke has come over the last few years that I think Sliver realizes this and wants to make changes.
