As much as I hope we win, I've spent (or wasted??) too many years watching this team disappoint at the most crucial moments to be even remotely confident of a win. i expect another heartbreaking loss, because that's exactly what Toronto's role has been forever, to be the butt of every NBA joke.

Anyone else kinda hope we lose? I feel exhausted mentally from watching this brutal raptors basketball. This team will never allow us relief or the ability to join team positive as they always regress back to playing like losers. 0 - 7 when leading a series, 0 - 13 when playing an after noon game, overall atrocious all stars and just brutal reffing.

here's the inevitable script: a few early phantom calls on a key starting member of the raps in the first quarter, he has to come out of the game allowing the heat to go on a run. this occurs again in the third quarter, digging the raptors into a hole going in to the fourth. a few meaningless calls to balance it out the other way, but the critical moments of the game are done. raps make a mini-run but never really manage to pull even. everyone here complains but nothing changes. NBA is all about money, and heat / cavs will sell a lot better than raptors / cavs.

I NEVER hope we lose. This next game, one game, is the most important W in franchise history and it is at home in front of the best fans in the league. The most patient and deserving fans. Derozan is back from the dead and KL will put it all out there as well. There is no staying cool in this one. They will go hard at Biz trying to get him in foul trouble but they really should not sleep on Patterson who is a gamer if there ever was one. Four offensive boards last night and if they could get him open looks his dagger could be the series. Got to get Pat some offence just to let the backcourt breathe. I'm stoked already.

This team is so limited that it would be huge fools gold if we somehow win game 7. It would be the best we ever did and everyone would go on celebratory rampage which would be totally unsustainable. We are who we are - very limited team with inconsistencies all over the rooster maybe good for lower playoff seed but light years from being contender.
