Just because your team lost to the Raptors doesn't mean you need to be a sore loser about it

?? The Cavs have taken at least one road game in literally every single playoff series since Bron returned.

The Raps have lost at home in literally every series since this group started making the playoffs.

The Cavs will undoubtedly get a game in Toronto. The pressure is on Toronto to take one in Cleveland.

There is no pressure on the Raptors. They're a big underdog, don't have homecourt, and this is the farthest the franchise has ever been in the playoffs. ALL of the pressure is on the Cavs here who are in win now mode with a superstar who might already be on the wrong side of his prime.

Probably because the Raptor fans don't think they have much of a chance, right now. I chose Cavs in 5, and would like a sweep to go undefeated, but then again that would just arm people with the "East is Weak!!" arguments. A few losses wouldn't be a bad thing to ground the team a little.

If the game is close tonight, I bet our fans start going at it tomorrow...especially if there's a blown call one way or another.

No pressure on the Raps? So if they lose 4 times they get to keep playing?

There is almost no chance that a LeBron led team would lose a game 7 in their building with a chance to go to the finals. Any elite team it is hard to pick against them in that setting, and usually the outcome is the home team winning. I also feel the same way about the Warriors/Thunder. The Thunder clearly can win, but it would have to be in 6 or less. I don't see them winning a game 7 out there at Oracle.

Don't take it personally. I chose Raptors in 4, but I honestly feel Cavs in 5.

haha no big deal. I understand the tongue and cheek Raps in 4 or Raps in 7 because the last two happened that way. There was just a few too many where it seemed like Raps in 7 was legit what they felt.

If by miraculous chance Toronto goes to the finals, and so does OKC. Does Toronto get homecourt? lol

Why is it wrong to feel that way though? you make it seem like its wrong to be optimistic about your team, what's the point in being a fan if you have a defeatist mentality?

anyways RAPS IN 4

Never said it was wrong, and never said it is a defeatist mentality. I said that if Toronto wins that it would be in 6 or less because there most likely wouldn't be much of a chance to win a game 7 in Cleveland. I have no issue with people thinking Raps in 5 or 6 at all. As a fan you should feel like your team can win, but also be realistic. It is like I think the Cavs have the talent and are hot enough to sweep Toronto but I realistically don't think that will happen. I think it is more likely that is 5 or if Lowry is playing well than in 6.

I never realized how bitter, entitled and delusional some Heat fans were until this postseason. It's been a real education for me.

Not having Valanciunas is a big setback for the Raptors. If for no other reason than depth, even if you prefer the style the team plays with Biyombo on the court.

Still can't believe how much flack the Raptors are getting, and that the Cavs are getting for playing them.

OKC 2015-16
55-27
18-12 vs East

TOR 2015-16
56-26
17-13 vs West

The Raptors are a good team and they have real depth on their roster.

I think one of the biggest things that might hold the Raptors back is they're just not used to being here and it was such a huge relief to get out of the first round.

But they fought through two tough series and are playing with house money now.
Thank you Nico!

I didn't care about the heat that much during the series but oh man am I happy we won because these Heat fans leaking into this thread and all over the forum is highly entertaining.. Can't believe how childish some of you guys are.

As a Canadian who love Americans, your country, your food, and your vibe, damn I have to say, your media is the saltiest and least-classy bunch around.

What a gang of a-holes.

Had to be said.

Here's to a great series. Believe me as a raps fan all I wanted was go advance out of the first round what happened after was just gravy. What happens next would be fun and whoever advances deserves and the West side should be scared of both teams

Not at all. They are rested and could win both on the road as they have proven. Remember when Chicago won game 1 vs LeBron and lost the next 4?

RAPS have been through war in the past 2 series. The RAPS are mentally tough and they stuck through everything against them. Now the the RAPS have nothing to lose and everything to gain at this point. The pressure is on Lebron, and neither Kyrie or Love have been battled tested through the playoffs.

It is a dangerous position for the CAVS if everyone is saying they should sweep the RAPS. If things don't go the way that CAVS have intended to, it's easier for them to start pointing fingers at one another and this wouldn't be the first time that it happened.
