Colossal choke job by OKC.

I feel so sorry for their fans, especially Bondom34. They do not deserve to watch their team just have so many mental screwups in such a short amount of time.

If i was an OKC fan, the tap would be flowing freely tonight.

Just saw this and really appreciate it man.

I don't drink, but its tempting right now. Maybe a movie and ice cream. I don't even know.

But seriously thanks for the kind words, being down right now I feel better seeing this post, it really means a lot even if I've never met you irl.

hard to see OKC winning at golden state after that loss. in general i feel like game 6 winners usually take the series... either cause they were up 3-2 and that sealed it or the momentum from evening it up carries them into game 7, especially if its at home

hopefully thats not the case.

OKC reverted back to their usual low IQ basketball at the end of the game. They're done for, I can't see them winning now in GS with the Warriors getting their momentum back. Too bad.

I'm just mystified by how they went so far away from the team play that got them their blowout wins for Game 3 and 4.

Np bro. You're a good poster, mod, and very welcoming of different views.

OKC has been under constant criticism from outsiders over the past several seasons, so I know you have to constantly fend off trolls and everyone who is pulling for their demise. It's good to see how even-keeled you are in spit r of the turmoil.
I wanted the Thunder to win the series especially considering how cocky the Warriors fanbase and franchise has become. Sending them home before the Finals would really shut down all of the gloating and give them a good dose of humility.

Considering how close the Thunder were to pulling it out, but especially watching how they gave the game away really pissed me off. I know if the Nets did that, I'd have taken a few shots of hard liquor  .

It seems likely that the Thunder won't win tonight but I'm hopeful that they will pull it out. I've had my fill of GSW gloating so I probably won't watch the game tonight just in case.

Kevin Durant is an A tier player but my god, he's one of the most least aggressive players among those of his skill level. he disappeared during that game for a huge stretch, i don't understand how you can be that passive during a Game 7, he should of been demanding the ball. Westbrook played some really low IQ basketball last night as well. Yeah, the Thunder's role players were bricking shots but you've got to lead the charge. Westbrook clearly lost confidence in his teammates in that game and I don't blame him but Durant was non existent. The guy will never win by playing like that.

KD desperately needs a distributor. He needs to be put into an alpha dog position, and have an offense run through him. At least a third of all possessions immediately go to Westbrook because he is the primary ballhandler. Durant needs a point guard that can find him for quick shots, and a mobile big man that he can run PNRs with.

It doesn't make sense for Philly if Teague doesn't guarantee to resign. What'd I'd love for is to us to absorb Teague's salary on Philly's behalf because i doubt he'd want to play there or resign there but we have nothing to give up

So who do the cavs hire as head coach when Lebron fires Lue after the finals?

Lebron shouldn't fire Lue, he shoud fire Kyrie and Kevin - those kids look like deer in the headlights, and aren't dynamic enough to get it done. Kyrie takes way too many dribbles to decide what to do, and it seems like the role Kevin is playing limits his effectiveness. If the Cavs don't show any signs of life the rest of the series, the Cavs might as well go full nuclear and do anything possible to trade Kyrie and Kevin for CP3 and Melo

well it was Lebron who wanted to play with one way players in Irving and Love. They are who they are.

If the Cavs lose, it'll be very interesting to see what happens especially if they are dominated. Gilbert has committed so much money to the team that you have to think they'd try everything they can to win, right?

Would LAC be willing to trade CP3 for Kyrie?

How badly does Melo want to win a championship? I know he loves NYC but would he be willing to give it up to play in Cleveland?

These next two years will be very interesting.

Last year's CLE team gave so much more to battle the Ws..... Kyrie and Love....

I'm probably going to regret saying this again cuz i don't want to read the defenses about it, but Love again proves he's a turd....

They fought harder because they had Mozgov and Dellavedova out there scrapping. So far, Love has been soft, and Irving has played selfish, tunnel vision ball and zero defense.

I'm dreaming, but I actually think Lopez fits Cleveland wonderfully. A true big that can shoot from the perimeter, and the cavs can pair him with Tristan for defensive purposes. With Kyrie's stock dipping a bit as of now, it's not TERRIBLY farfetched (I hope). Meh, it probably still is, but oh well.

Moving lebron to PF and startinG RJ at SF was a blessing in disguise for Cavs. If you're Tyrone Lue there's no way you bring Love back into the starting line up, James and RJ were excellent on both ends last night and they defended the perimeter.

RJ looks like a guy who has been to the finals before!!! I'm rooting for him

Who says no?
Kevin Love to SAC
Demarcus Cousins to NYK
Carmelo Anthony to CLE

Why NYK does it? A Porzingis Cousins frontcourt would be deadly. At this point they'd be one offseason away from offering Oladipo a max and establishing a new young talented core.
Why CLE does it? Love sticks out like a sore thumb in CLE. If CLE wants to win now before Lebron's decline they should look to move him now. CLE would instantly get a boost to a small ball lineup of Kyrie, Smith, Melo, Lebron, Thompson, or can go big with Mozgov at the 5 & Thompson at the 4, and Lebron taking the toughest perimeter defensive matchup
Why SAC does it? Gets the most value from a potential Demarcus Cousins deal. What they lose in Demarcus, they gain flexibility with a more easily defined frontcourt with WCS playing off of Love. Love can't fill up the stats like Demarcus but It would certainly make the squad more flexible to build moving forward.
