LeBron's probably gotten stripped in the paint more in this series than the entire season combined.

Gonna take a miracle for the Cavs to win this one. They just look gassed right now and it's obvious on both ends with all of the good looks the Dubs are getting and the lack of movement on offense.

Cleveland's out of gas.
Called GS in 5. That's what it will be.

We all knew it was going to come down to his jumper. They had a shot if it was gonna fall against GS. They won the 1 game where it did.

How did he not fix his jumpshot in the offseason? Like wtf was he doing?

Same to Durant and Westbrook last series. The Dubs team defense is on point.

I feel like game 5 is going to be a blowout win for GS. Cavs blew their load in the first half tonight and didn't have much left in the tank in the 2nd, and it's going to be hard to regenerate their enthusiasm on the road while down 3-1.

Damn me for allowing myself to get suckered back in after game 3. Nothing but respect for Golden State. Just an amazing basketball team.

That's my thought as well. I think we'll get 1 quarter of max effort Lebron defense and maybe O if he can hit a jumpshot or two but he'll wear out and GS gets the title at home.
This is more akin to 2014 Finals Game 5 than 07 Pistons or 09 Orlando or even 12 Boston Game 6. They're just completely outmatched and I don't think any degree of heroics would save this one.

Not a terrible game. He played great defense and rebounded well; he needs do something about the turnovers though. Warriors were just better. Draymond was killing them on the defensive end.

Well, at least it wasn't a sweep. I really thought they would push them to 6, but looks unlikely.
Kyrie was decent today, but I'm still all on board a Kyrie for CP trade.

LeBron and his approach to this NBA finals

LeBron and his approach to this NBA finals
I'd like to discuss LeBron's approach to this particular NBA finals.
While I think he did what he had to do in 2014 and 2015 (diferent approaches but each one right given the context of those finals) I think he had the wrong game approach in this finals on offense.
- 1st point: over-dribbling. You can't dribble and dribble to get close to the basket with your back to your opponent against GSW. That generated a ton of TOs and it was a mistake LeBron repeated all over again. He can try to go to the basket but he has to make faster decisions. If he's going to drive, then drive. But drive hard. In the post (specially against Curry or with any other matchup where the size advantage is big) make it count with fast and hard moves. He really needs to watch the tape and think about this;
- 2nd point: attacking the rim to score. He usually reads the defense pretty well, but not this time. If they are daring him to score, then he has to go for it. Tonight he over-passed. Too many passes to the 3 point line with no actual spacing. He should pass when there is an advantage in the perimeter, even if not to the open man. He made many mistakes like this in the finals. In G3 he did it better. Even in the 2nd quarter when he was missing shots close to the basket, that was the right thing to do. It generated offensive rebounds and made the defense collapse more often to have perimeter space. Should have kept that approach tonight.
I've usually defended his approach in most NBA games and finals. Not in 2011 and not this time. It's not like he played bad - defense was great in every game, rebounding effort was definitely there. The will was there. But with the wrong approach.
I'd like to know if you guys agree or not, and if you feel there was something else wrong with his approach to the game.

Disappointed with his game tonight, after he played so well in game 3.
Generally, I think the critcism of LeBron being too passive and not looking for his shot enough is a narrative-driven fallacy...but I think it applied in this game. He also wasn't nearly as crisp with the ball as he usually is, and turned it over quite a bit as a result.
His jumper is still definitely off. Last game was clearly a fluke.

Lebron has a bad game despite his stat looks impressive. He has little impact and he looks struggling to score. His outside shot fails him again. Lebron is the Wilt of modern day. I'm afraid to say that to all Lebron fanboy.
