BOS has to have the record for rumors to trades ratio. They leading the rumor mill season after season.

Not saying it's impossible but sentiment around league is that Boston doesn't have anyone on roster that other GMs really want.
Russillo @ryenarussillo 3h3 hours ago
The Celtics have been trying to package #3 and another player/players for a legitimate starter. Teams have not been interested.
Russillo @ryenarussillo 3h3 hours ago
Teams keep referencing the cap as an obstacle w/ trades. "Why do I want to trade a $7m player knowing it will cost me $14m to replace him?"

The cap jump is really messing with teams right now. You don't even know what's a good contract anymore.

Ryan Russillo can't even follow his own logic trail....
1. Nobody wants any of the Celtic players
2. GM's don't want to trade $7M players
3. Boston's 3 best players all make around $7M
Seems like if his last tweet is true--and I think there is a lot of truth to it, then #3 plus one or more of Crowder, Bradley, Thomas would be a very attractive package. This reads like someone with an ax to grind against Ainge or the Celtics aren't yet making their best offer--as they shouldn't.

Yup. I still think Ainge gets someone, but a lot of Boston egg avatars are going to scream their heads off on Twitter for the price he'll pay.
Or maybe I'm completely off base and he pulls something ridiculous off.

I'd link the tweets to the Middleton stuff, but it is all over Twitter.
