Care to comment on the possibility of a CLee S&T as part of a broader CHA - SAC trade?

There is no chance that a Courtney Lee sign and trade is part of the Belinelli deal. Lee would have had to already talk to Sac and agree to sign. Also, there would be no benefit for Lee or Sac in doing a sign and trade when he can just sign with Sac directly. The reason it can't go through until July 1st is because that is when Charlotte can take Belinelli's contract into their cap space.

What if SAC wants to preserve cap space? Is Lee the only FA you folks hope to land this summer?

If we wanted to preserve cap space we would be better off moving someone like koufos for future draft picks. With the jump in the salary cap, almost every team is more than capable of absorbing a contract so we would be better off acquiring future assets instead of just giving someone away for a player we can already sign on our own. That being said, we have around $34m in cap space so i don't think preserving it is a huge need unless we think we have a shot at conley. Either way, a sign and trade is something that could be potentially be agreed upon in the future, but it would not be part of the belinelli deal as that has already been agreed between the teams before Lee could talk to Sac.

Marco Belinelli's jaw was broken yesterday playing Euro ball. It's said to have no implications on the pending trade. Wrap this dude in bubble wrap until July 1st. Don't ruin this Marco!

I never said their was a sign & trade nor did I say their wasn't . It would be nice if you didn't put words in my mouth .
You obviously are not reading my posts correctly .

By the way Thank You for educating me on what you know for a fact . I guess you know more than me about trades and trade chatter.

Not at this time. As I said in an earlier post though anything is possible before hand . It is unlikely any potential Rubio trade would not happen for a while as teams want to see what signings they can do & what type of available cap space they will have available .

For the Kings it really depends on what we do in regards to Conley , Rondo and possibly Lin as well . I am doubtful the Kings go to hard after Lin though . All this in mind it is possible we end up with none of the above .

I am only mentioning Targets as well as trade talks not anything for sure right now.

Kings would like Conley , Lee , Resign Curry .

I still know we still have talks about Mac , Koufas , Gay & had light talk of Collison but I see Collison not as easily traded at this time until his problems are fully over first . It is possible another team still takes a chance on him though .

Thanks for the reply man! Makes sense, I thought Rondo was NYK bound and now don't really see a landing spot for him anymore with the Rose deal being done, decent chance he returns to the Kings? Oh also let me know if you hear anything on the Rockets lol

Yeah my bad I forgot to take your post out of his quote. I agree with you on our main targets being Lee and Conley. I was just answering the Charlotte poster's question.

I think there is a decent chance Rondo returns but the Kings aren't going to overpay him. I think its pretty likely that Brooklyn offers him a pretty big contract considering they have like $50m cap space and no PG.

Brooklyn can easily throw 1year/$16-18m at Rondo.
Bulls don't have a starting PG as well now.

It's a lot. Vlade has made it pretty clear that Cousins and WCS are completely untradeable this summer.
