Yeah. Just hope Presti doesn't squirm his way out of this. It should be us or GS.

Where's all the hype for GS? I'm shocked we aren't seeing movement for them.

He's probably going back to OKC to start packing his bags and giving Presti and Collison a good bye hug. We got this fam.

Will be so sweet after watching him at the Key his rookie season. Sonics green was great, but Celtics green will be even better! And I still boycott Starbucks green to this day... not that it's that hard since I hate their coffee.

I think it's kinda funny they had a TMZ video a few weeks ago of them questioning Ibaka about Durant's status in OKC, and Ibaka said KD was "going nowhere".

Fast forward to today, Ibaka is in Orlando and Durant may be saying his goodbyes to OKC.

My wife's water broke last night at 3am. I haven't slept, and she's still in labor. I've still been checking this board hoping for a Durant update...

Obviously my first unborn child is my priority, although I just realized how much time has passed today/and this story line has helped it pass.

Lol I'm imaging you running out of the hospital room yelling **** yeah we did, and everyone saying congratulations on being a father and then you saying "huh? We just got Durant!"

Too funny!

Thanks so much for the good vibes everyone!

Best of luck man! Raise them a hardcore Celtics fan ;)

It's definitely got a double entendre ring to it.

May be even a triple ring...

Well, C's are still in it and we have reached the 'hunkering' stage.

Coming right down to the wire.

OKC aren't that confident if they want another meeting.

I just read an article in the Norman Transcript which basically says Durant's biggest risk in re-signing on a short contract is a "labor" stoppage and a new CBA after next season that isn't as friendly to the players. Basically, if things unfold a certain way, the rules could change and it could cost next year's free agents.

(It seems crazy that the owners and players would have a stoppage in this climate, but everyone knows there's a chance they will.)

Potential problem #2 is the risk of major injury and Durant losing his next big contract that way.

Put those two risks together and Durant on a short deal back to OKC looks more questionable.

The Boston Celtics have a real shot at Kevin Durant. I'm going to write that again because it feels really good. The Boston Celtics have a real shot at Kevin Durant.
