President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I like how he repeatedly say, "She put up quite a fight" and "I didn't want to hit her" when the video shows only the reactions of a terrified, hysterical woman half his size as he violently grabs, wrestles and body slams her. Nothing I saw prior to that explains his actions, although his partner's later explanation makes sense: "Black people have violent tendencies..."

http://gawker.com/dnc-hack-ariana-grande-wasnt-allowed-to-perform-at-the-1784154320

According to one incredibly detailed summary in the cache of hacked DNC emails, the White House vetoed a performance by Ariana Grande because she was caught on camera licking a bunch of donuts.

Wow. WikiLeaks latest email dump includes proof that a Politico reporter sent a pre-publication story to the DNC so they can coordinate a response with Hillary before publication. He gave the story to the DNC before he even gave it to his own editors. Hopefully this will be front page news tomorrow. I won't hold my breath though.

It won't be frontpage because the DNC has the lamestream media in it's pockets. And quite frankly, Politico probably isn't the only news source that has articles vetted and approved by the DNC.

Again, a story about the leaks was on the front page of WaPo earlier this afternoon (it got nudged down the page by the VP announcement, but it's still there). I'm sure that all sorts of media outlets will have follow up stories in the days to come.

Fox News' (brilliant) business model has been great for ratings, but it's also had the unfortunate side effect of tainting many people's impression of *all* media outlets -- ones with a decided editorial slant, and those with a fairly clear and honorable demarcation between the editorial and reporting staff.

It's going to take a few days to go through 19,000 emails.

"Woke"? I didn't realize Kaine (or Granholm) was so...hotep.

Of course, someone responded with the appropriate meme:

Boring and safe? Are you saying that Clinton/Kaine won't get us into a wrongheaded war like G.W. Bush did? Sign me up!

That's the thing. She will. HRC is a warhawk and a military capitalist. She's going to be as bad, if not worse, than GWB when it comes to abusing the powers of the commander in chief. Just look at her terrible stint as SofS. Leaked emails, illegal bombings, military opportunism...all the horrible things she did as SofS will be compounded times 10.

I just finished watching Tim Kaine speak after being introduced as Hillary's running mate. Boring and safe? Maybe. A great communicator? Definitely!

They will definitely get my vote because Trump is unfit to serve. However, I worry about Clinton too. Why? Because she may overcompensate for not being a man by being more aggressive militarily.

That sounds a bit sexist to me.

Plus, the stories need to be coordinated with the DNC before they're published, so that will also take time.

I wonder if Guccifer 2.0/Russian intelligence is saving any of the most newsworthy revelations until last.

The FBI Director testified that Gucifer was lying, he's got nothing.

The Russians are trying to help Trump.

I've had the pleasure to meet Senator Kaine a couple of times. He is a good person. Kind, thoughtful, caring.

Boring works for me.
