AJ Reed sent to Fresno

I hope that he can get his swing back on track. Maybe he'll be back to contribute by September.

If he's not part of a trade, of course. I'm hoping that he is not.

Not surprising since he's struggled at the plate, but I am a bit surprised(disappointed) to see Tucker back up instead of giving Bregman a shot.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Yeah, I was all excited last night thinking that this was leading to Bregman's debut.

I am very hopeful about Reed getting his swing back.

Reed has the ability but he needs to drop weight. I fill like that's what causing the holes in his swing

Yeah, I could see that affecting him.

I'm not saying I want to see him traded, but I really get the feeling he will be part of a deal for a pitcher by the deadline.

Would including him in a package to get Sale be worth it?

AJ Reed? Absolutely! I'm not being flippant, I think that Reed has value and when he figures out his swing he'll be a major asset to the team. But Sale is a dominant pitcher on a great deal. You have to make that move if it is offered.

Just hide the damned scissors when Sale gets here. God knows what he'd do to those rainbow throwbacks.

Huh hell yeah. If the sox wanted Bregman I'd say yes (not both). He is a true Ace and those are extremely valuable. Look at Hamels pretty much keeping that injured Rangers staff together. Same goes last year when Rangers got Hamels and propelled them to taking the division. And Kuchel last year.
