I would have rather signed Chalmers to be a backup Guard. At least he can play defense.

Ummm ... was that during halftime? Where the hell were the Memphis players? Were they on strike? Did they get paid for that game? :nonono:

Considering how Memphis did with injuries last season, all 5 players are probably on the floor hurt.
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Entering the year 3 of the Dion Waiters Project. What are the areas he needs to improve to be effective? Dion takes the toughest shots you will ever seen. Every shot is like a game winning shot, you never see him get easy shots. That is his problem and main cause for his inefficiency. Wiaters is the epitome of Hero Ball. He is only good when those shots are going in. But eventually the odds will catch up. How can he raise his efficiency? One major area of his game can make a huge impact. Fastbreak points

Lets compare him to a similair player and one of his competitors at his position in the east. Victor Oladipo

Dion Waiters fastbreak pts 0.9 per game. Oladipo Fastbreak points 4.7 per game. If Waiters can get his game to 3 fastbreak points per game. It would boost his EFG and PPG.

Good observation. To be fair, during that 2nd half two seasons ago, he was getting to his spots with more ease, taking easier shots within the offense and displayed a better feel for the game. That, along with his aggressive disposition, made for a very effective two-way player for this team. The question was, can he maintain those traits consistently or does he revert back to the player you described.

Always a fun ride with players such a Waiters and Beasley. You see that they have the skillset to get it done but mentally is where they are challenged. Sometimes it's about maturing as a person/player. In Beasley's case, it just never happened. Waiters is getting to his prime. Let's see if he can be one of the few to "get it".

I can't help feeling that I'm missing a joke here somewhere but ... that's Sarah McLachlan, not Celine Dion.

He's going to have a record season with Wade mentoring him into the finals MVP he is.

Have we signed Wade?

Have we even offered him a contract?

Even better have we finally hired a competent offensive assistant coach ?

After the roadtrip on 10/29.

Meanwhile, remember when Waiters claimed he should play instead of Irving?

I'm going to guess he's not going to be an NBA scout after he retires.

He has a weakness for cheese popcorn and hired a personal chef to help him keep his weight down.
