33-32 regular season over this period, including 12-24 in conference play. Pretty terrible. He's still living off his Duke reputation as a "hard-nosed" and gritty player. As a coach.. he's pretty bad. That's good news for UW and recruiting the state. Because typically it's pretty split in terms of recruiting. Honestly, I don't know why any kid that is a top 200 player nationally would consider MU right now. Campus is pretty crappy, School (if they care about this) is very average, Basketball team recently has been irrelevant since the infractions/scandals of the Buzz Williams/Crean eras.

I'm going to assume you didn't go to Marquette?

Wojo has shown that he can recruit, but a time has to come where he can coach those players into better teams. His teams have been to turnover prone and undisciplined defensively.

MU is fine. They got left in the lurch by Williams and suffered for it a couple of years, but they have too much proud history to stay down long. Wojciechowski is doing some good recruiting and I am sure he will develop into a great coach. Now with the new arena coming and all those fine NBA alumni, recruiting will be even easier. They just need to get back in the tournament and the rest will come. The Big East is obviously a strong conference again. It's all good.

Marquette just lost out on a top 100 Michigan PF Xavier Tillman to MSU. Damn, a lot of sites were predicting MU this morning. He would've been a nice piece with the rest of the class: PF 6'8" Theo John, SF 6'7" Jamal Cain, PF 6'9" Ike Eke. It's not going to be a high profile class, but definitely gives them a big man's base to go with their talented guards. Looks like they will focus on PF 6'7" Hasahn French.

They have Markus Howard and plenty of talented guards, so hopefully the roster gets completed by Joey Houser.

The team has improved every year under him after the first year of really only 7 guys he could play from Williams. Last year was like 65% of the minutes came from freshman so this year they should be better.

No need to fix what isn't broken. Despite being a Marquette alum and having obvious bias towards the team, I've always felt MU had some of the best uniforms in all of college basketball. These new uniforms are plain bad, especially when the players are wearing them. They legit look like swimming or track uniforms when on the actual players.

The only silver lining is I'm happy the basketball program is still signed to Jordan, which I believe is a huge selling point for potential recruits. There are very few college teams that are sponsored by Jordan for both shoes and apparel, and although Nike is a big name, Jordan will always resonate as the premier brand around kids playing basketball.

I love the new jerseys. I don't mind them switching things up. It's what the players want and Nike/Jordan typically treats Marquette well, I can't remember the last time I didn't care for MU's jerseys.

I like the blue jersey a little more than the white, but love the shorts for both. MU has generally had unique uniforms, so this is in line with that. I do think these will be love or hate though.

The cut is really different. Looks almost like practice jerseys with the low collar and shoulders, like they're meant to be taken off and on several times like pinneys.

I would agree with trwi7 ranking. The white are my least favorite and don't seem to fit. They are definitely going to be polarizing.

Is nobody gonna mention the ambiguously gay duo in navy blue?
