Kanter would absolutely crush under SVG. Having him backing up or occasionally playing next to Drummond would be sick. How does 50% rebound percentage sound to you?

I don't see a Lamb return. One of the reasons for moving him was reportedly that Russ didn't like his work ethic.

Charlotte gets: Enes Kanter
OKC gets: P.J. Tucker and Spencer Hawes
Phoenix gets: Jeremy Lamb and Mitch McGary

The Thunder clear a big glut in their front-court while giving a ton more cap flexibility to make more than one big move in 2017 summer.
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

I don't see the benefit to Phoenix here. They don't need Lamb and McGary's value is pretty much in the tank. If OKC wants Tucker the Suns should be able to get positive value out of it.

Agreed.

I do think Kanter for Chandler/Tucker is still somewhat interesting tho a bit less so with Durant gone. But assuming Chandler is willing to be a 20 mpg backup, this balances out OKC a bit better, and Phoenix is now paying a young guy who fits reasonably well with their young PF's and if they bring Len back now you have 2 completely different options at center. Its another roster spot for OKC, but really no big deal there.

It sounds amazing. I was fully prepared to offer up a variety of nice pieces, but it sounds like you guys are fielding offers for doo doo.

I'd just add I have zero interest in Hawes, and I'm kinda for keeping Kanter unless there's a real upgrade at SF out there. TBH I think he's a big part of what Russ likes about the team and fits really well with him, so I'm not sure what i want to do with him yet.

Enes Kanter
Ben McLemore
Sam Dekker

Sacramento Kings get:
Brandon Knight
Corey Brewer

Houston gets another scoring option

OKC adds a replacement veteran back-up center and roster balance

Phoenix gets younger

Kings get a point guard

Which contract is more moveable, Kanter or Chandler? If OKC wants to open max cap space next summer it'd need to open that salary up.

Under that condition, I see OKC keeping Kanter and making his offense a bigger piece of their team to up his trade value for the off-season rather than taking what they could get for him now.

Would Dallas swap Bogut for a Tyson Chandler return?

Dallas gets:
Tyson Chandler

Oklahoma City gets:
Andrew Bogut
P.J. Tucker

Phoenix gets:
Enes Kanter
Kyle Singler

Bogut is much a much better player than Tyson chandler at this point.

I can't imagine we would without some incentive. We are kinda going year to year with Dirk and taking on those additional Chandler years doesn't make much sense in that context.

depending on how the first 2-3 months of the season go and how Portland's pieces fit, injuries and such, I wonder if a Kanter for Crabbe trade might work
