I have reached out to insfo about it.

Was there ever a resolution on this trade? If so, what is the trade?

I'm hoping for a resolution that is more middle ground than me just giving up a higher pick but haven't received a reply on it yet.

I'm on the clock. I am really not sure about trading my 29th pick but just wanted to see if I can get a good value out of it. Not looking for a pick in the 50's, more like for teams who wanted to move 2 to 3 spots up.

Ended up keeping the 29th as I was out of time.

Klay scares me this year... Curry will get his, so will Durant... Where does that leave Klay?

I think he will get 17 ppg at most. The first pick until now that I probably wouldn't take on my 38th.

The reason why I wanted to move down a bit is for someone else to answer that question.

I am not all out on Klay but I actually expected him to be gone by mid 20's. My reason may not be appealing, but looking at GSW's depth charts, GSW's SG spot is quite thin. Though Draymond can really play the 2-5 positions, I think he'd be asked to play a big man role, with everyone else waiting on the wings for outlet passes. I think Klay can keep his minutes but definitely with a lower usage, unless someone goes down. I hope his assists go up.

And I was really out of time to even make a good comparison to whoever is available. I have other choices but Klay was listed higher. If this is an online draft and I am out of time, my autopick would select Klay.

I expect all the starters to play less minutes as GSW will be blowing out a lot of teams. Also expect them to be rested more towards the end of the season (fantasy POs?) after losing the finals last year.

He might still be top 20 value by years end. I've been known to be wrong on a few occasions

That is what pushed me into Kyrie. But klay could hold pretty steady, maybe drop to 18ppg but maybe even more 3s or pushing 50% from the floor.

Above I sait 17ppg but yeah 18 seems to be a safer bet as some bench scoring left GSW as well. but getting 4 ppg less and 0.5 3pt less means he needs to get his fg% to 50-51% range.

still I think it's scary as to draft him earlier than 35th pick IMHO.

On the possible resting of GSW players for the playoffs, I honestly think it would be Durant who will get rested on back to backs, and consecutive road trips. They need Durant fresh for the postseason. By this time I hope Klay would be peaking. But that's just my opinion.

I am still looking to deal away Klay if someone wants him. I am still interested in picks in early 30's.
