Browns To Part Ways With Josh Gordon

The Cleveland Browns will part ways with Josh Gordon.

Gordon is entering a rehabilitation facility, citing a need to "gain full control of my life."

Hue Jackson said earlier Friday that the team will "move on" from Gordon. The source acknowledged that the Browns ultimately plan to cut ties with Gordon, but noted that Jackson's comment was not meant to reflect the team's plans.

Gordon was suspended for the entire 2015 season but was reinstated conditionally on July 25 by commissioner Roger Goodell, though he also was suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season.

Gordon's a moron. He should have done this **** like last year. Can't blame the Browns for moving on. The guy is a cancer.

Yeah, the 0-3 Browns should definitely cut ties with their only good player since he likes pot. What a cancer. Kidding aside, hope he cleans up because hes a damn good player when hes out there.

Might have something to do with the fact that he just had a kid.. probably not a coincidence he decided to check into rehab the day he found out he's a father.

Also, man it is rough being a Jets fan. I am a Jets and Packers fan (Live and grew up in Wisconsin so they are my 1st team, liked the Jets since I was in middle school 16 years ago) Fitz and the D look like ****

hes 25.....and hasnt played a lot of games because he likes drugs. Cant deny that he is a really good player when hes on the field.

Wait he just had a kid and only found out about it after it was born? Crap, he really DOES have issues.

I'm talking crap about him because he's been talking that crap about getting his life together for 3 years now. I'm against how strict the NFL is with weed as well, but seriously you have to be a complete moron to give up millions of dollars just to toke some pot every once in a while. Weed isn't even physically addictive, which makes it even more of a joke.

If you want to see real rehab, talk to a heroine addict and ask them how difficult it is to kick the habit, where you literally get sick as a dog until you get your fix. Gordon's a joke. You gotta be one of the most weak minded individuals in the history of earth to go to rehab over being "addicted" to smoking POT.

You mean when he WAS on the field. I can't say for sure that he'll ever reach that level again, although I'd take him on the Jets, with Decker injured, for sure. He'll be dirt cheap for any team after this "rehab" stint.
