We got this beauty.
But yea, any game when Adams plays 7 minutes, Russ sits most of the game, and the closers are Kanter, Singler, and a couple rookies I don't expect a win.

This is satire right? I mean, you honestly can not have watched Magic games and not seen him airball and clank game winners.
He tied up games but was never know for winning them. That's just facts.
Again you have resorted to personal insults because you are probably are upset or just have a limited vocabulary.

The guy was almost 3 full years older than the other wings we could have taken in that draft like Winslow and Stanley Johnson and still statistically wasn't any better. He was billed as being more NBA ready than the other wings due to his professional playing experience and being older but the guy got his pocket picked more than I've ever seen for a rookie wing.
In general I thought he looked soft compared to the other guys.

I'm not trying to take sides here, but I agree with PennytoShaq on this one. Oladipo, to me, was pretty underwhelming in terms of being "our guy" down the stretch several times. I wanted him to be our Wade or T-Mac/Hedo/VC so badly. I was let down a whole lot during his tenure here MINUS the rookie year

You wanted Oladipo to be our Wade or T Mac and you ended underwhelmed by him... Geez what a surprise lmao

At time he was, but not ever consistently. I don't really foresee him ever being a consistent go to guy down the stretch but I could be wrong about that.

Against Chicago, two games actually in his sophomore season. He had clitch layups and drove past Jimmy B
He hit two big threes against the Thunder in that crazy game last year which we still lost because KD and Russ are great not Dipo's fault.
in 2015 against Toronto
Then there was that New York game at home his rookie year where he had like 30, 10 and 8 or something and that huge dunk on the baseline to seal it.
Against Dallas in 2015 the nationally televized game he hit that insanely difficult three in the corner the same game Elf had a triple double
This is just off the top of my head lol

He was only the 2nd overall pick in his draft--no big deal or anything. You could argue the 1st overall if you take the position that the Cavs completely pissed away that pick.
It's not crazy to imagine the top pick in a draft will end up a star/superstar. It's tough to live up to that when you have the limitations Dipo seems to have had.
Orlwillbeback wrote:Oladipo was the second pick.... big deal. The best players from that draft were just about all taken either out of the lottery or late lottery lol.

Cmon man. Not all draft classes are created equally. Everyone and their mother knew that draft class was weak.
If you thought Oladipo was going to be Wade or TMac you shouldn't be disappointed in Oladipo... You should be disappointed in yourself
