Re: 2016 postseason game thread
do you guys think that maybe the whole sign stealing paranoia with runner on second is what got Grandal and Hill crossed up?

Maybe, but from what I understand, it's normal practice for them to switch up the set of signs. Not sure it it is more talk than practice, but I do think that Hill is bothered by baserunners, in general. Plus, as we witnessed with the passed ball, he and Grandal have trouble getting on the same page, so maybe they would rather go to a more simple set of signs to lessen the confusion.

Re: 2016 postseason game thread
I understand about the lockerroom issues and all, but god I dislike Reddick and his game. Puig's ceiling is an MVP type of a player. Reddick's very best is a boarderline all star. hope we make it work with Yasiel in RF.
ehhhhh f it.

I wanted Adam Eaton from the jump.
Elite defense (arguablybthe best in RF).
Good L-R splits.
Under contract beyond this year.
Him and Puig competing would be a good problem to have and not an annoyance.
That said, they needed to get a pitcher too...and I dont think Eaton would be feasible in that scenario.

Seager Comes Up Big
Corey comes up big with the RBI after Hill wasted an at-bat swinging on a pitch that had Toles otherwise easily stealing 2B. That's Seager's 1st hit beyond the 1st inning during the postseason and what a time to get it. Like Neddy said before, we need him to produce in order for us to go far in the playoffs.

yeah and they would have asked someone like De Leon and plus for him if not Urias. I can see us calling up Bellinger to compete with Puig and whoever in left, although I think LF will be crowded as is. as of now, we have Andre, Toles, Joc, Reddick as LFed OFers and only Puig, Hernandez, and Kendrick as RHed OFers. Kendrick and Hernandez are really IFers. if possible, I would prefer we look at right handed bats to add to this roster come off season via FA.
ehhhhh f it.
