Seems to sum up a lot of "top" players.

Bizarre rumours surfacing around Conte's supposed imminent sacking.

Is it bollocks or is something big going on behind the scenes?

fwiw the club are vehemently denying it

But it makes you wonder who is putting all this money on Conte being sacked, or even why this this speculation has arisen in the first place. He's leading the sack race with the bookies at the moment, by quite a margin.

It doesnt always matter. Remember they also suspended betting on Arturo Vidal joining Man Utd in 2014.

They also say that Simeone would be the favorite to replace him. Why in the world would Simeone leave Atletico now?

It's been a long time since I was this happy after watching a Chelsea game. That was amazing.

Christensen will most likely come back to Chelsea next summer.
Gladbach's sporting director Eberl said that there's hardly a chance to sign him.

I'm looking forward to a back 3 of Christensen, Luiz, Zouma for the next few years. Add in super-utility man Azpi, who can play anywhere it seems, and we will finally have some options that aren't all slow and old.

this quote, is apparently from Oscar himself.

"It's 90% certain. It just depends on some bureaucratic details."

52 mil pounds is a ton of money for a guy who is barely playing. I'd hate to see him go, because I soft-spot in my heart for him, and of course, I'd prefer to see him stay in Europe, but I get the temptations of that kind of money can be too good to pass up. He can go to China for a few years and still return to Europe when he's 27-28.

Who would be at the top of your target list this window if that money is made available for another purchase?

Yeah, I just saw this. Had to bump the transfer thread, that's some absurd money for Oscar. Chelsea fans have to be pleased if the reported fees are true, even if he has been a decent servant of the club.

I've read that Chelsea plan to reinvest a large chunk of that into Virgil van Dijk. Probably tabloid nonsense though.

I've been hard on Loftus-Cheek the past 2 years, but I'll gladly admit he looked pretty good today. I think this was his best outing so far.

Also, nice to see Ake is being recalled. He deserves a shot to get some 1st team minutes. I really hope he can show his worth as a LWB to potentially back-up Alonso.

Where do Kenedy and Musonda go next?

Newest rumor has it, that he might get loaned to Gladbach.
Though, I'm not really sure that's going to happen.

Looks like there is a chance Musonda stays for the rest of the year.

"Charly is a good prospect. He has the quality to become a great player. For this reason, it's a good opportunity for him and for me to work in this five months with him and try to improve him. If he shows me this month he deserves to play, he will go into the team. I like this type of player and I want to work with this player. I see this player for the present and for the future."

Not good news today regarding Costa
- Back injury? Maybe
- Fight with trainers who said he wasn't fit? Maybe
- 30M per year offer from China? Maybe
- Not trained with team for 3 days? Maybe
- Not playing vc LCFC? Definitely

Wanted to share this.

Great interview/podcast of Ball Street with Paul Canoville, the first black player to ever play for Chelsea.

Frank Lampard officially retires today.

Arguably our greatest ever player (I personally would say our greatest player) to wear the blue shirt, my favourite player ever. Wish him all the best in his upcoming endeavours, would like to see him working for Chelsea again in some capacity soon.

Good luck to Ivanovic too, great servant and a true legend of the club.
