So are we bringing this back? ESAL, do you have the free time this month for us to get ready for the reason?

I'm gonna assume this isn't gonna happen this year...kinda funny because I'm in a few leagues and none are off the ground yet. It's like the season snuck up on everyone this year.

Any interest in doing a league of some sort, even re-draft? I can set it up, just need some people.

^I just want to do this league. I even had a long-term plan that would pay dividends in a few years.

If we're gonna do it, we've gotta get moving. ASAP. We still have to do rookie draft, restricted free agency and then remaining free agency draft. That's a lot to accomplish in less than a week. I honestly don't see how we could get it all done by the 26th.

Also would have to decide whether or not to raise the salary cap to match new salary cap, creating exploding salaries.

is starting the season, let's say, a week later an option at ESPN's fantasy site? I'd be all for that if it meant that we'd have the time to get through our off-season.

ESAL, if you are reading this, do you have the time for this now?

Yeah i'm pretty sure its an option. I think we had to do it one time a few years ago in my league.

Yeah i'm pretty sure its an option. I think we had to do it one time a few years ago in my league.

Then I suggest we do this. Let's push the season back a week, act as if this was a lockout year in our fantasty league and get everything done.

It certainly seems like people are interested in continuing this thing.

I think what you want to do is go into the schedule and give everyone a bye week in Week 1

If you set a draft for next week it should automatically bypass the games that have already been missed.

Actually, after thinking long and hard about it I just thought of the solution...

Remember, I picked up MKG and Ish Smith midseason and gave them a 2 year deal at $1, I don't see it reflected on the sheet. page 47

Thanks for the heads up in the other thread Lamar.

Sorry for being absent on this guys. We did the scavenger hunt and I kind of disappeared from the board after that. This wasn't even on my mind. Once my daughter was born in January, I was struggling with time at the end of last year and I just lost focus on some things and this was one of them.

I have seemed to have gotten the time management more under control these days.

I'm good to go for this year if everyone wants to get this started. Obviously the season has already started, but if we have the possibility of getting everything done and doing the online free agent draft next week and get the season started the week after I think that would be ok.

Do we have enough guys to start? We have the lottery(can be decided today), the rookie draft and then the restricted FAs I believe.

So I guess where are we at on participation? And what are the thoughts on starting late?
