I had no idea McGehee was even in America much less the majors. Gotta love Brad Ausmus. Give him enough awful pieces and he'll find a way to use all of them in the worst possible way.

Yeah not good. Wonder if this will trigger a huge suspension.

Not gonna lie, I didn't expect Khris Davis to go for 40+ HR and 100+ RBI this year(assuming he adds a few more to each category before the season ends). His OBP still sucks but those are impressive power numbers.

Yeah that trade has kind of balanced the scales in Stearns portfolio a little bit. This has been his weakest trade so far in hindsight. Still like Derby and Nottingham but have to think Davis' worth is much higher than those guys right now.

I'm not that surprised. Davis had 27 last year in only 390 at bats. He has big time power, but his walk rate in the majors has been really erratic unlike the minors where he walked a lot and he has one of the worst arms in baseball.

The thing that surprising me is how his batting average manages to stay in the .245-.250 range each year. You'd think by pure randomness that there would be more fluctuation. If he just walked more like he did in the minors. Davis would be a yearly .850 plus OPS hitter.

Bumgarner trying to lock up the diva of the year award. Must have an incentive in his contract or something.

I love the fact that we've been bumping this same thread for three years because it gives me an excuse to laugh at the video in the OP again.

Amazing. The coach of El Paso in that first video is now the bench coach for the Brewers.

**** I didn't even notice that, but you're right.

If I was Franceour, I would have melted into a puddle in embarrassment - but that's what makes it so funny to me.

I laughed just as hard watching it again. Would have been funny with anyone, but the fact that it's Fenchie, because of course, makes it 10x better.
