Rangers at Edmonton tonight. Second back to back. Last weekend, they won back to back games (at Boston) then at home against Tampa Bay.

Unlike the Knicks, the Rangers have zero problems winning back to back games.

Just goes to show, you never know how fast or slow a guy will adjust. Everyone knew he had size and talent but figured it would "take time".

Grabner scored his 9th goal to open the game. 1-0 Rangers lead in Edmonton.

Rangers Record 4-0 when it comes to back to back games at home and on the road. Must be a white people thing on back to back games. ;)

They did NOT score 4 goals. Only 3...Break up the team!

If the Rangers win in Vancouver on Tuesday, they will have swept a western road trip. Can't remember the last time that has happened...

Rangers have two road games left, Vancouver and Columbus. Should make for an electric week of hockey.

How's this for numbers, +/- a crucial stat in Hockey because it measures your ability to give and get, NY Rangers make up 4 of the top 5 in the NHL

1. Shea Weber, MTL +16
2. Michael Grabner, NYR +15
3. J.T. Miller, NYR +14
4. Kevin Hayes, NYR +13
4. Nick Holden, NYR +13

Again, the THIRD line of the Rangers infused by youth is a MAJOR difference. You know guys like Nash, Krieder, Zuccarello, Stepan are all going to be there but you need to keep every one fresh and there's no substitute for youth and high octane.

1st goals for 4.1

4th goals against 2.3

Power Play NINTH!!! (Remember when the Rangers were in the twenties? Then Yandle was supposed to solve all our problems. Well he did, then bolted for Florida for big money)

Penalty Killing #11th: My favorite stat. Jesper Fast is the unsung hero.

Completly shocked at how talented this Rangers group is. If they could acquire two solid defensemen, have G as the 7th defenseman and we'll defiantly become the best team this season

since I've been alive I've never witnessed such a power play with the Rangers. I'm sure the 06-07 team had a great PP but I was too young

The Rangers are not going to be able to get 2 defense men without gutting their current squad. NO ONE is stupid enough to take the bad contracts such as Girardi and Staal's huge long contracts.

Rangers already traded D Dylan McIlrath for Steven Kampfer, conditional 2018 draft pick.

Little moves are all they can do because in the NHL you NEED 4 good lines. Right now, the Rangers have 3 really good lines and a budding 4th.

Sometimes in life you gotta go with what you have.

New York Rangers, winningest team at MSG, delivered a crushing blow to the Vancouver Canucks 6-2 in Vancouver. This time, the Rangers 4th line did the lion's share of the work and contributed to at least 3 of the 6 goals. Zuccarello also putting in 2.

Vancouver got Canuck'd the f*ck up!
Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

Impressive win last night...us fans are looking past the next two games as they have a home and home with Pittsburgh next week. We should know a lot about this team after that.

Columbus is definitely tough...and Florida has been improved tremendously with the acquisition of former Ranger, Keith Yandle.

The next 4 games are definitely a challenge.

A great test for the NY Rangers...in Columbus for the showdown of the VERY good Columbus Blue Jackets. Don't miss it!

A short handed goal is the difference as the Rangers drop one to the red Hot Columbus. Not a bad road trip for the Rangers who nearly returned to New York unscathed.

Next up, MSG's winningest team at home against Jagr's Florida Panthers.

After a stunning OT defeat at the hands of the Florida Panthers and Nineteen games into the season, the New York Rangers have their first major challenge: They march into Pittsburgh with no rest and without their 2nd line center Zibanejad who suffered a fibilia fracture after a awkward collision that SILENCED the crowd (I was in attendance). Out for 6-8 weeks minimum. DAMMIT.

A hockey season is evaluated in steady increments. I/4th into the season, the Rangers had an electric start. NOW, the next 20 games will determine their character. Without Zibanejad, if the Rangers can go 14-6 or even 12-8 I think it will be VERY acceptable.

We will see how deep this team is and how they stack up against the Stanley Cup Champs.

Rangers unloaded on the Penguins in Pittsburgh 5-2. McDonagh had a helluva game 2 assists +5. A. Raanta between the pipes held the Pens in check. Looked like the Pens were going to run away, scoring 2-0 but he settled down and shut them out the rest of the way.

Boy, you gotta wonder if Lundqvst is the guy to win the Cup for the Rangers. After the Rangers go up 1-0,Pittsburgh unloads 4 unanswered goals. At least 2, Henrik should have had.
