The Ted Leonsis Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by AFM » Thu Nov 17, 2016 6:39 pm

This board has gotten too negative recently, and IMO, too much of the blame has been cast on Ted, rather than plain and simple bad luck!

This is the thread where we can think of the positives Ted has brought to this team!

I'll go first:

Ted changed the awful blue jersey scheme back to something much more appropriate!

Uh, anyone else want to chime in....

He's stood up for affirmative action of a sort, refusing to fire an incompetent, completely unqualified GM.

Dumb, lazy white men of Hungarian origin deserve a chance to earn millions while running an organization into the ground. That privilege shouldn't be reserved for CEOs of major financial institutions.

Ted has provided me with with hundreds of extra hours free each year, now that I no longer feel any need to watch, discuss, or otherwise engage with the Washington Wizards. Only a very select group of owners have provided that kind of gift to their fans.

From what I read on his wiki page he is a philanthropist and he has Greek Orthodox background. A mentor from a religious school is the reason he got into computers in the first place.

I won't joke about the man's eternal fate because who knows?
