I watched the Mich - OSU game for a while. I have a ton of UM fan friends, looks like a lot of tears will be shed on group chat.

I saw the end of that too. I think OSU was down 3 in the 4th when I started watching. That was an exciting ending.

I haven't done much research but everything that I've read says that there is not enough data to support that it is better for you or to justify the extra cost.

Much appreciated ahern.

Michigan deserved to lose with those costly int's, and fumble inside the five. With that being said, I don't think OSU got that first down in OT. Seemed like an extremely favorable spot.

None of this really matters though because Bama is on a different level. :sigh:

I went to Alabama for the weekend because one of my friends goes to the University of Alabama. Going to the iron bowl no lie was a top sports experience of my life.

I went to Mississippi once because one of my friends' folks own a cabin there, it felt like a third world country.

Birmingham looked like the **** parts of Detroit, so many caved in roofs of houses and blown out buildings. Trash neighborhoods everywhere. A true 0/10 city.

Tuscaloosa is really nice however, not a ton to do but way nicer than other parts I've seen.

I mean... the mosquitos and the humidity... and the butt rape, but the banjos, mosquitos, and humidity!!!... why would you?

This was back when I was going to school in Missouri. We went to Nashville and further ahead to Memphis when the friend called and asked us to come by his folks' cabin so we could fish, four-wheel and redneck for a few days. You just can't say no to Southerners so that's how we ended up there. It wasn't all bad though, our cabin was next to a large black church and they invited us for dinner. If you ignore the preaching, the bbq was quite good.

One thing i liked is that all the southerners i met were very inviting. Super polite and kind group of people.

Southern hospitality generally only applies if you're white.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

Nashville is awesome because it combines a lot of liberal californians there for the music industry with southern hospitality, but we got 30 min outside of town and my apache wife became a despised person who no one would acknowledge or help at stores. It was bizarre. Other than dirty looks they totally ghosted her like a person was not standing right in front of them. At one point I just lost my **** in a place and called them racist hillbilly cowards.
