Barnett has put up numbers close to what Garrett has. Why is he so low? Many Browns fans compare Hooker to Ed Reed. Why is he not top 5?

Garrett has been playing hurt all year. He is much better than his numbers. Hooker could go top 5 depending who is doing the picking. He's definitely that good.

One thing I noticed in this upcoming draft is that there isn't a sure fire #1 stud, or even a top 3, as most NFL mocks I've seen are all different with the top picks order.

I think Garrett, Allen, and Peppers are pretty solidly in most people's top 5 prospects in this draft. What complicates everything is the desperate need for QBs pushing lesser QB prospects up into the top 5 where they really don't belong.

Pretty sure u can argue Fournette is a top 5 prospect as well in the majority of peoples boards.

As for qbs your correct that this is a piss-poor qb class. Tribusky seems solid but he's of started this year consistently. Watson seems to lose some accuracy on deep balls kinda like teddy Bridgewater. Kizer needs work on pocket presence and reading defenses. There's some good talent when u start going 2-5th round at qb just not high end franchise guys.

I'd argue that none of the QBs are close to being on Carson Wentz's level from last year. Kizer has the tools to be a big time QB, but he's really raw. Trubisky has the highest floor, but I don't see anything more than a middle of the road starter at best. Watson is the big mystery, because I just don't know how his game translates to the NFL level. One thing I do know, is I wouldn't touch any of the 3 with a top 10 picks.

Btw your draft order is slightly off. Jags should be picking 3rd based on the 1st tiebreaker which is strength of schedule

Until the season is over, I take the standings and break ties by who I think is worse or less hot. I'm sure there are many other spots where it isn't correct based on tiebreakers. It will sort itself out.

Yeah, that's why I think it would be foolish for the Browns for example, to take a QB with the 1st overall pick, when they all look to be worse than Wentz was when they passed up on him last draft.

They have the most draft picks so they should take advantage of picking the best player available with each pick instead of position of need. Since nearly every position could be upgraded anyway with that terrible team.

Also since they own the Eagles pick which keeps becoming a better pick (I think it's around 13th overall ATM) they could just see if one of those 3 QBs falls to that spot and take someone like Garret with the 1st.

I totally agree that not taking a QB at #1 is the smarter move, but they are said to be really high on Trubisky and likely to take him #1. Though there is still a lot of time before the the draft for them to change their minds.
