I don't think the Raider O-line is getting enough credit. They might have the second best O-line in football.

Really legit conference we have here. Remember, NFC West used to be tha powerhouse with 3 straight NFC champs and a Super Bowl champion. Clearly, no longer a case since this season, 3 of 4 NFC West teams are below .500 at midpoint.

That's a strange projection for the Chargers given their brutal schedule to start including some extremely unfortunate losses and their cake schedule down the stretch. I mean look at their remaining schedule a few posts above. I feel they'd have to play extremely poorly to finish 500 or especially below that.

Chargers are a team for real. No doubt about it, they might get to 8-8 or 9-7. The projection was only based on the pct. wins so far

Depends on which Charger team shows up. If the Charger team that shows to play the full 60 minutes without turning the ball over multiple times, they can beat most anyone.

I agree.

I hadn't really watched them play this year until last night, but I was pretty impressed with how good they looked. Apparently Collinsworth was too, because it seemed like he verbally ejaculated his awe of the left side of their line about a dozen times last night.

With all of the talk about how the Texans should/could/(la la la blah bluh bleh) have taken Carr, if we could have that O-Line along with him then hell yes I'd swap the #1 pick for that.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Grrr, though game to swallow. Denver didn't deserve to win. Overly conservative play calling and to many penalties.

Great news for the Chiefs. Justin Houston has been activated and ready to report to work. Cam Newton will be screaming for more flags after this week again, for sure.

If he SHOULD be getting the flags, like the NFL has admitted numerous times that he should be, then yeah, expect him to call them out on it.

He was deactivated and will not play anyways today. If the first half is any indication, it looks like the NFC Panthers are gonna spank the AFC Chiefs.

I think Tyrell Williams will step up. I can't see Jeffrey getting traded, though I'd welcome him. Chargers do well getting receivers who have shown talent but played with crap qbs, like Stevie Johnson, and like Travis Benjamin. And that one guy we had a year or two ago from KC (I think) who suddenly played much better than he had the previous couple of years.

Terrell Williams has been a fantasy gem for this year and again today. :rocking:

Will Tony Romo going to Denver or Kansas City sweeten the AFC west pot just a little and make the patriots sweat?

I'm not sure about best, but we're extremely deep.

Penn - solid LT, not elite, maybe great
KO - show me a better LG. I dont think there is one, what a mauler
Hudson - great, top 5 C for sure
Gabe Jackson - getting penalized a lot but such an anchor
Austin Howard - our weakest starting OL but still, at worst, average

7th rd pick Vadal Alexander stepped in and was really solid when we needed him.
Denver Kirkland (UDFA) has been a smasher, and pancaked Von Miller twice. He's been looking really good in spot work
Jon Felciano and Matt McMants are versatile backups

It's a beautiful thing. It makes an average starting RB like Murray look great.

Raiders and one Wild card probably Broncos. Dolphins might find way to sneak in.

That's true. Part of me hopes he ends up on the Cardinals and Palmer retires or something.

Haha, thanks my friend. Though I was wrong about the Derek Carr and the Raiders potential. I've always liked Carr, but I thought that he was at least a year away from making that team a real contender or even a playoff team. I was definitely wrong on that one.

Though I still believe Kansas City wins this division.
