Chill, I can see Fultz maybe being Fultz level but Ball. Hell no, overrated to the max

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

Not quite getting what you're saying here.. that you think Ball's overrated? He's single handedly revolutionized UCLA's offense, is racking up assists within the flow of the offense with a low usage rate, has great physical attributes for his position, and has demonstrated that he's a better shooter than the form suggests.

Meanwhile, DSJ has been mixed so far as a college player. He should be better in the NBA, but hard to argue him over one of Ball or Fultz. They're the clear 1/2 in this draft right now imo.

He got screwed by Adebayo.
They'd be a great duo in NCSt.

I'm sold on DSJ.

Most PG's with his athleticism rarely come with the playmaking skills he has. The CP3 comparisons are a little too overzealous for me but he's got the qualities you'd look for in an NBA PG for sure. He's a stud in that PnR.

Watching the game today he looks like he doesnt have interest, which i reckon is because he hates the team. But you can tell if a team can get him to bring it everynight he'll be a beast

NC State has no talent. Bam was supposed to play with DSJ until he bailed for Kentucky.

So he'll be like that I'm the NBA? Cause the team that drafts him will still be bad got 1-3 years

Reminds me of a smaller, more explosive Jarrett Jack. Very similar in the way the move, especially in terms of dribbling style.

Comparable skill sets as well. Good scoring instincts both in isolation and in pnr. Questionable 3pt range and can be turnover prone at times. DSJ's quickness advantage should allow him to get to the rim more than Jack did though.

State has plenty of talent. It's the coach.

I still think they have some talent issues. But ya Gottfried is a horrible coach, that dude wastes talent like no other.

Here are all RSCI ranks for players on NC State with more than 10 minutes. DSJ has less help than any of the top guards in the country. Ball, Fultz, Kentucky crew all have multiple 4/5 star teammates.

DSJ has one low 4 star teammates and a bunch of 3 star and unranked players.

Abdul-Malik Abu - 45
Terry Henderson - 100+
Torin Dorn - 100+
Omer Yurtseven - 73
Maverick Rowan - 83
Ted Kapita - 100+
Markell Johnson - 88
BeeJay Anya - 64

This man Dennis proving that anyone can put up numbers against scrub teams. If he had Fultz's schedule, wouldn't even be a question. His numbers are climbing. His jump shot was shaky but he's looking on point now. Unguardable, the best

He's a solid PG prospect, probably top 5 - 7 in this draft, but I don't think he'll be ranked ahead of Fultz by GMs in any scenario. His measurements might affect his draft stock as well. If he's under 6'3" he might slide a few spots. He'll be a steal anywhere outside the top 5.

Do dudes really think that Ball is a better player than Dennis? Like honestly Ball looks like a role player

Smith does looked undersized, but as long as his measurements on DraftExpress are accurate, he's basically the same size as Curry, Lowry, Paul, Parker, Lillard, Irving (height, wingspan, reach) plus he has a much better athletic advantage.

And I agree on Smith vs Ball.

The one question mark I have on Smith is his handle (and pure PG skillset) he looks a little clunky to me and his TO/Assist ratio is below any All-Star PG in the NBA.
