And if that happens, maybe it's worth exploring a 2-for-1 deal to move up in this draft (if it's as good as some are anticipating it to be). Maybe we can target Brooklyn if they stay in the same position. Give them an extra boost for their youth movement by getting an extra draft pick and in return we get to pick at a higher spot and target a Blossomgame or Miles Bridges.

He's only out for 3-6 weeks, Looking at the rest of the league, the only team that seems to be gaining ground on the Clippers is Utah. There just doesn't appear to be much of a threat to fall below the 25th pick.

Many people have submitted posts posturizing their belief that the Clippers are playing over their
heads and will drop in the standings by the time the season ends.
What if we consider putting the shoe on the other foot and thinking about where the Raptors
would finish if Kyle Lowry gets hurt and misses a considerable number of games due to that injury.
Kyle Lowry's style of play lends itself to that possibility.

Nobody wants Lowry to miss considerable time and it hasn't really happened in the past couple seasons anyway. He's typically a little banged up by the time the playoffs come around, but the most games he's missed in the past couple seasons was 12 in the 2014-2015 season. Last year he missed only 5. Personally, I'm just focusing on the most productive prospects available in our range and if Masai trades any of our assets to move up it will be a bonus. I'm not really expecting it to happen though.

I was under the impression that Blake's overrated and that CP3 is the main cog of the Clippers. Hope I'm wrong.

That view looks solid to me, without Paul I think the Clips would be 7th/8th in the West. They can live without Blake for a while.

I mean, the went like 16-4 or something like that in the 2013-2014 season when CP3 was out for a fairly long stretch of games. That season also turned out to be one of Blake's best years.

In my opinion they are very good either way, but to me the problem is that together, they aren't that much better. Just a bad fit together in my opinion.

I think everyone agrees that CP3 and Blake Griffin are both really good. The problem is that their goodness overlaps a bit. They don't seem to have much synergy as players, which is a bit weird for a PG/PF combo.

With so many solid/superstar level freshman guards... Fultz, Ball, Smith, Monk and even Fox, my hope is Frank goes under the radar and falls to the mid-late teens. (Where we can hopefully package one of guards and picks for him). The knock on him a year ago was that he couldn't shoot and from the looks of these highlights September-December 2016, he looks like he has really improved.

6'5 with almost a 7-foot wingspan. I wonder if Wright or Cojo (Salary dump) plus a pick can do it. I think a lot of fringe playoff teams, would love to add a guy like Cojo and move down the draft.

I can only imagine how scary a Powell/Ntilikina two-way backcourt can be in the future. :o Also, I wouldn't mind if he stays overseas a season or two so we wouldn't have to waste any of his rookie contract.

As Lowry and DeMar ages, we have these two to take the reigns. DeMar can slide over to the 3.

Lowry (Re-signed)/Wright/VanVleet/Ntilikina (Overseas)
DeRozan/Powell/Toupane (Two-way Contract)
Carroll/Ross/Bruno/Purifoy(Other 1st Round Pick)
Patterson (Re-signed)/Siakam
JV/Bebe/Poeltl

I have seen him like once, he hasn't impressed me. haven't seen France u18 games this year, but his stats are very underwhelming : 9 points on 34FG%, 3.8 assists, 3.2 TOs. The level of competition in this tournament is really poor. so I dont know what to think really.

And just when I say this, he comes out and has the best first half of his career. 15 points 6 assists so far in semi finals vs Italy.

Frank is the top international prospect. His play will only make him go higher, and then once teams get him in for workouts he's a lock for the top-10.

Thanks man,

Looks like exactly the type of player Masai would go after. Giannas was the one that got away, this is his new guy lol. (bye bye Bruno)

Would you give up Corey and picks for him?

This is such a waste of a thread anyway, you can scout and search for prospects as much as you want, you know in the end Masai will just draft someone who noone ever heard of before. And down the line it will be the right pick too

Thats a tough call. Maybe not because this team is in win now mode, and Frank is definitely a big project still. Its only been one game, but he definitely showed serious potential tho, great handle and insane length for a point guard.

Caleb Swanigan is the perfect player to take. He will be best player in draft

Troll another board please. We've been over this many times already.

Delon was projected to go 20th much of that year. He was my personal pick and the pick of many others.
Powell fell and was a perfectly rational choice.
Poeltl was the consensus 9th pick on most mock boards.
Siakam only went early if you consider Skal was available. Siakam was projected late 1st to early 2nd round in mocks.

Only left field pick in 3 years was Bruno. Since then every pick has been a high PER guy at the college level. It's not hard to figure the type of players Masai has looked at in the past 2 drafts. Most likely pick, if available, if Blossomgame. Plays a position of need and has been very productive. If you want to know who else is a likely suspect, you can just look at DraftExpress and see who has a higher PER. Watson figures highly in Raptors picks.
