Rex Ryan Fired By Bills As Head Coach

Rex Ryan has been fired as head coach of the Buffalo Bills.

Anthony Lynn will serve as interim head coach for Week 17.

Ryan was hired by the Bills before the 2015 season.

Buffalo is stupid. The guy had a .500 record back to back years on a team with not much talent. If Watkins stayed healthy this year they are likely a playoff contender right now. They were pretty close, despite Rex getting stuck with a team that didn't fit his defensive schemes. They have the personnel for 4-3 and no shutdown corner. Rex's D's rely on big NTs and a tough Dline, combined with exotic blitzes. If they have no elite corner, blitzing and Dline pressure won't matter much. Poor Rex got the raw deal again. Hopefully he'll be back next year as DC for somebody because he knows defense well.
