It's crazy how good he is as a rim protector and this is first year really playing that role defensively

That block on Lebron was disgusting, not many big man could make that type of block in that position on Lebron

He just blocked LBJ. That was sick. He is outplaying him tonight.

They usually play one another to a standstill, tonight Durant dominated on both ends.

His effort on D has been remarkably consistent this season. I didn't expect to have that in him (doing it on regular basis) because I thought that kind of effort takes too much energy from him. He is really giving everything on court this season. His fitness and endurance certainly look more impressive this season.

If all you know how to look at is the ppg column, then yea, they usually play eachother to a standstill. There's a reason why Lebron had led his team to an 18-4 record against Durant led squads prior to tonight despite similar quality supporting casts for the most part during that time (and even if you would quibble with that, the disparity was not anywhere remotely near something that should lead to a 4-18 record), and it's because there is a lot more to playing basketball than just scoring. The 2012 finals was a lesson in that. Kevin Durant scored on an incredible level. He was badly outplayed

Yeah. In many of their games they were close when it comes to individual performance but tonight certainly was all KD. He dominated.

This is what it looks like when Durant has a team that can match Lebron's Miami/Cavs teams!

Weak troll attempt. But you need something to do to stay busy between starting MJ worship threads

Has Lebron ever played on a team that won 73 games with that core without him?

Let's not forget whose team was favored in the 2012 finals. Hint: it wasn't Lebrons

Where was your MVP Kevin Love tonight? Has he fallen out of your MVP conversation?

Give me a break. Westbrook is an overrated chucker who would be lucky to be a top 25 player in the 90s when I was 7 years old. KD needed Curry, Green, and Klay to finally have a team as good as LeBron's. Stop hating on KD.

Fits in so easily, doesn't need a custom built team, just plug and play.

I knew KD was better than MJ and his much needed sidekick. Durant is showing that he doesn't need 1 all-nba player to succeed (he needs 3).

MJ was asked: Kobe or Lebron and he answered KD, so there's that, the true heir.
