Are we going to have these threads on a daily basis?

Not sure how it is 'no question' that he's better than Lowry

Lowry is still less of a liability on defense than IT, which makes up for the small gap on the other end of the floor IMO

No. I got Lowry, Irving and Wall over him for defensive purposes

Eh, 4th probably, I'd take Lowry, Wall, Walker ahead of him comfortably.

Maybe 5th in the playoffs, slightly behind Irving.

Definitely an All-Star though, I think these 5 guys are pretty comfortably are locks for the All-Star back court in the East.

Another questions, assuming CP3 makes it, how many East PG's make the ASG in the west??

Not unless we just ignore defense. At least Lowry and Wall are better than IT.

He just destroyed Walker and Wall within a span of a week and people still have them over IT. Not to mention the difference in records. Only one in the East that really has a argument based on THIS SEASON is Lowry.

3rd in the East behind Lowry/Wall, would take him over Walker/Irving for sure though.

There are 5 elite PG's in the NBA. 4 are in the West + Lowry. You can credibly debate the order within that group, just like you can credibly debate within the 2nd tier of EC pg's: Wall/Thomas/Irving/Walker. But the gap between tiers is clear.

We are talking about the better players not the better team.

Look at what he did to both Wall and Walker just recently. Better player this season is IT. I'm just using records as a cherry on top. Celtics would be near lottery without him.

Actually, the Celtics have a higher net rating with him off the court. That means IT has a negative on/off, -2.8. So theoretically they actually are better without him, would that be true, ehh...

But I personally believe they would be better overall if they swapped Thomas with Walker, or Wall. Obviously its debatable, but that's just me. He's been playing much better since missing those handful of games though, before that he wasn't playing at all that great of a level. Since that point though I think he's probably been better than Walker, but Walker has probably had a better season as a whole, IT is just playing better the last few weeks.

They beat the Wiz by like 9 on the back end of a back-to-back, and at home...
The Wiz blew them out earlier this year by 25 though.

Cant go off 1/2 a season of good play and all of a sudden be the best guard in the East. He's a good scorer, but the other top guards are better defensively and better with assists.

Deff an all-star, but probably somewhere in the 3-4 range of pgs in the East
