Mecca certainly didn't predict this shyt going down :eek2:

I've done drafts like this a lot, if you do pick trades it just becomes about which GM can find some sucker fork over the most unfair deal.

Eh I think its part of being a GM and makes it more fun

Nah, I had one draft where I found someone who was willing to trade an early 2nd and a 3rd for a late 1st and my team ended up being so stacked that people quit the draft halfway through. In my opinion trades should only be allowed AFTER the draft is over so that people actually know what each round is worth and maybe not even then.

Every trade I've seen in this so far has had a clear winner and a clear loser. Personally I'd rather it be about building teams than winning trades.

Yes, I like the fun factor, although yes, a couple of the earlier trades were ghastly :eek2:

But nobody should really be scared of Lowry and Paul George. Not even in the slightest :eek2: :eek2:

Pooch did pay a fair price for #31, I made sure of it :D

I don't think you realize what kind of player is going to be there in the late 70s. I'll give you a hint... not much better than the guy in the late 90s.

Why would I be salty. I said from the start I was here to talk trash not win. Smash's Lowry pick is like the reason I joined this time around. In a current players only draft with this shallow a talent pool there is no fair way to do it, you do no trades and the bottom gets screwed, you do trades and then it just becomes about finding suckers. No good way to slice it.

No I realize whats there. What other GM's do does not bother me. Adding Lowry or Gobert does not make me shook.

The ABBA helps alleviate some of that. We'll see. The last BAT I participated in had some of these trades, but it was highly competitive and the finalists weren't affected by pick trades. (It was actually affected by a players trade; the one by Context )

At least for me personally, I already know I'm not going to win the BAT picking at #30. Yes, there are some decent guys available, but there isn't any All-NBA quality ones and that's essentially a necessity to build a contender. But I'm not quitting anyway. I'm doing this to build a team that I like and I also want to see how other participants play and strategize and what the final product and result is. The entire process is entertaining for me.

I'm fine with BAT trades, because it's hard to be lopsided when only so many trades work and sometimes you accidentally get 8 pointguards. But in this format I see no logical reason to allow trades. If you want a specific player just reach and draft them, if your team doesn't fit you done messed up your draft dawg.

I don;t think any of the trades so far put these guys at an advantage over team Lebron or Curry so not that big of a deal right now.

Loving this trash talk here. Been waiting to jump on a BAT for a while and glad I'm involved.

Interesting to see the approach some GM's are taking...obviously still very early. Look forward to **** talking with all of you.
