maybe continue to make picks but the picks thread is just for picks I believe not to announce trades. There have been 20 teams making deals first one to post in the thread. Just agree send you pic to the guy picking for you and then complete the trade after. I thought that was always how it was suppose to be done. Been doing it for the last 10 BAT's

Since I am not online 24/7 feel free to keep the draft moving when a pick is traded. No salaries need to match so unless you feel that your trade is controversial and could be questioned by the other GMs, if an OTC pick is traded, go ahead and make the pick and keep the draft moving.

Thanks j4remi for updating the draft thread!

I love Noel, but they're on the same tier.

Timberwolves center Gorgui Dieng is 14th in the NBA in defensive real plus-minus. In real plus-minus, Dieng ranks 14th in the NBA and Wolves point guard Ricky Rubio is 54th. Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns all rank 330th or lower.

Bro, I'm going to chalk it up as you being dazed and confused after losing out on Noel but they're not on the same tier. They have similarities but Dieng isn't guarding the perimeter, playing the passing lanes, and anchoring bad defensive teams to middle of the pack in drtg.

See, I didn't say a bad thing about Noel, but since you wanted to chime in on Dieng.

- Noel is scrawny as hell. At Center he gets bodied by bigger 5's. When I was going to pick him, I was going to have to move Bari to the 3.

- Noel hasn't even been good this year.

- Noel is injury prone.

- Dieng is a bigger body that can play more physical defense and bang in the paint.

- Dieng has more of an offensive game and mid range jumper.

- Dieng is more of a higher IQ player.

Just know you brought this on yourself when I didn't say a bad word about Noel. There's a reason why he dropped to the middle of the 4th round.

I think he means the person currently OTC makes the pick and the trade is completed afterwords.

I think that is what Bish meant by that. It's how we have dealt with every trade before.

Again, I said twice that I love Noel, but he isn't without flaws. There's a reason why he's available in the mid 4th round. If you didn't chime in on your thoughts on Dieng, I wouldn't be so blunt. Both are on the same tier, and that's not really debatable in a 1 year BAT.

so now he is the greatest defensive player since David Robinson?

I liek Noel. He can rack up the blocks and steals, but he has his flaws and needs some work. He needs to get stronger. Dude gets pushed around in the post, doesnt have much offensive game, and is pretty fragile.

Just talking about a 1 year BAT I would still say Dieng is more reliable.

Noel is better and has a chance to be really good, like Tyson in his prime. But dieng is older, smarter, and more reliable to playing a game, long term
