I don't see why not. Carmelo is not just chopped liver even though the majority of realgm want him gone yesterday. That guy will be able to win some games in the playoffs with that crew if he does not destroy chemistry. One established player and two developing players and a 2nd round pick or two sounds like a good take for Melo.

the earliest pick the knicks can get is a 2021 first rounder. since 2017 and 2019 are gone they cant trade 2018 due to the Ted Stepien rule.

Love Melo and his being but for the franchise, it's time. We need to build around KP and the young guns.. Noah and lee aren't going any where. Give them defined roles.

you have trade melo now for whatever you can get. its not hate, its just smart. Melo hasnt, and wont get us anywhere. keeping him just stunts the growth of what little youth we have. And if we can get something else now, while we still can, it would probably be the smartest decision Dolans made since he took over. just getting his contract off the books would be huge for our franchise. you can have him for a bag of popcorn IMO.
