Is this a rumor? I wouldn't settle for anything short of Bradley Beal or Otto Porter Jr.

That's an appealing offer.

not a rumor, the reports are wiz interested in Ibaka and that Vogel loves Mahinmi.

was just curious what you guys thought about Hezonja's trade value, because john wall has magical powers that make wing players all star level players

There's no point in trading Mario now. Value is at an all time low. It can only go up from here if he continues to start. He is going to get another chance next season to prove his worth and I think he will succeed. We're not trading him unless it's in a clear package for sla star player.

Oubre for Hezonja straight up swap?

Even that the homer in me wouldn't do that honestly.

Something like Oubre + '17 1st (currently 22nd) for Hezonja and Orlando's 2nd?

Huh? Oubre is a huge part of our rotation, he's shown star potential this year. trending in the opposite direction from Hezonja

So let me get this right you want Hezonja for basically nothing? Got it.

No I think he's just asking for a fair deal. Oubre > Hezonja / Wizards 1st > Orlando 2nd soooooo why would the wizards even consider that?

hasnt avg'd more than 7ppg this year and he has shown "star potential"?

if that bar is that low, then so has Hezonja

I may be in the minority, but I don't want to give up on Mario just yet (unless a great offer comes along)

His trade idea is Ibaka + Hezonja for Mahinmi + their first round pick... so yeah, I'd say he wants Hezonja for free.

I'm a Mario HATER and I'm not giving him up for his current value (zilch) either. I'll just sit tight thank you very much.

you still haven't given an example of a fair deal though, that was just a random thought of mine based on the report that Vogel loves Mahinmi and the magic were looking to get rid of Ibaka at all costs because he was leaving anyways. I had no idea about Hezonja or his trade value, which is why i came here to simply ask.

Obviously thats not the full story, he's our best perimeter defender, first guy off the bench that allows us to play our small ball lineup, which is one of the best in the NBA statistically. He'll have stretches where he averages double digit scoring on 40%+ from 3 while playing lockdown defense. he's good for 17&7 game here and there while putting the clamps on players like Lillard or Isaiah Thomas. Bball breakdown did a video on him if you don't believe me. so to point at 7ppg as an indicator of anything is little silly.

WHILE sporting a cool PER of 9.3 and playing double the minutes Hezonja is getting.

I hope the Magic don't do a trade with the Raptors, I don't like any of the players on the Raptors. The Miami Heat yes, We probably don't have a shot at Whiteside but he's the best player on the Heat and would be amazing if he came to us. Tyler Johnson would be good to add.

Lately I've been thinking about how frustrating it is watching this horrible team. So here are some ideas I've had about blowing it up.

The first trade I'd make is with boston.
Boston in: serge ibaka and Evan Fournier
Magic in: Jaylen brown, amir Johnson, Tyler Zeller and Boston 1st this year (not Brooklyn's picks because I don't see them giving those up)

I think that Boston could very well compete with Cleveland with this trade.

For us we get a young player in brown who we can throw out there and see what he is made of.

The next trade I would make would be with portland.

Portland in: vooch

Orlando in: festus ezeli, noah vonleh and 2017 first.

I think Portland's pick could be in between 12-20 which would be nice to have in this draft especially if we wanted to package are picks to move up in the draft or for a superstar.

I would also try to trade Jeff green and cj Watson to a playoff team who might be willing to trade a late first this year with a bad contract.

Then I'd run a lineup of elf, Jaylen brown, mario hezonja, Aaron gordon and bismack Biyombo. That lineup should make us lose more games and be a whole lot more fun to watch than the garbage we have seen so far this year.

I'd definitely do this trade

the celts have a pick swap with the nets that they will exercise so there only first this year will be a top 4 pick and they would not move Brown for a rental.

Return to Orlando Magic
