pre-injury Sabonis was a lot better athlete (and bigger), but Jokic is even better passer

Sabonis was more impressive because he was huge. Truly scary to watch him. Freak of nature they called him.
Jokic is the closest i've seen though.
He's 21. :o

I watch almost every Wolves game and am a huge KAT fan FYI so i'm not being biased here.

I agreed. I take Jokic over any young big man not counting Davis.

Giannis would like a word, but you are right/close enough

Honestly I didn't think of Giannis when I think of big man.. But yeah, i'll take Giannis for sure.

Is Giannis really a big man tho? Regardless, I'd have Jokic and Giannis in the same tier. KAT and Porzingis in the tier right below them.

Jokic could be equivalent.

You can find Sabonis footage around. Sabonis was as good as prime David Robinson and Robinson is top 25 all time. Jokic would have to crack top 10 of Centers all time to be equivalent to Sabonis.

Sabonis in his prime is Jokic's passing with Porzingis' height and length with Pekovic's strength.

Knicks could do the same thing Nuggets are doing with Jokic all of the time. Stand at the elbow, guards and others run around like crazy, see one drive to the basket - pass the ball, easy bucket.

Jokic is for real. There's honestly no more fun team to watch in the NBA than the Denver Nuggets and it all starts with Jokic.

Jokic may be the best offensive force in the NBA next year. He's 21. We could be looking at a top 20 player here.

He's unbelievable. What a find by Denver. They should be able to keep him as well...Euro players don't seem to care what kind of market they're playing in like a lot of American players.

Sabas was a far better defender. Offensively tho Nikola might well be a souped up 2010s version of him

i havent seen a sophomore this skilled with such a complete offensive allaround package since Larry Bird

He doesn't deserve 30 + pages on the main forum this should be move to the nuggets forum.
