Dubs in 5. This mIght be best team ever assembled. I don't think anyone is giving them a scare once they ramp it up in the playoffs.

I think it's more likely that they remain the same or get slightly worse.

There's diminishing returns in play here. You can only be so perfect, and when the entire atmosphere intensifies then it's a lot harder to be perfect.

They're absolutely the favorites and will most likely win the title. No doubt about that.

But I feel like people see such amazing regular season success and then expect that it's gonna magically 'get better' in the playoffs. How much better can it get? 140-24 over the last 2 seasons, which is probably the 2nd best 2-year stretch ever behind the 96/97 Bulls. That's pre-Durant. Sure, they've got ways to improve, but so does every other team, and those teams can get substantially better.

If anything, I think it'll be harder for the Warriors in the playoffs and you'll see some cracks in that diamond-encrusted armor.

We'll see but this is a better team than the last 2 years, the difference is that this group isn't treating regular season games with any degree of importance. That cost them last season. I expect to see a different gear in the playoffs they didn't have before.

Pop is the best coach in basketball, that alone could give them 1-2 wins. Kawhi Leonard is a MVP candidate and one of the best two way players in the league. If another player (LA or ?) get hot, anything can happen.

Rockets have the best chance. That team is unguardable with so many shooters around Harden. They just have to be in rhythm.

If both him and Steph play well...going to be awfully hard for them to lose. Not like KD hasn't choked in big moments in the playoffs before, but he has a lot more room to operate now.

Kyrie guarded Steph far more than he guarded Barnes.

Kyrie Irving can play better defense than a 35 year old Tony Parker, and has actually done a good job of defending Steph Curry.

If the Spurs dominate the boards, Danny hits his 3's, LMA puts up 20+ and 10+, and the Spurs bench out plays the Warriors bench, then they have a shot. It will take nothing less than that though, can't say I'm confident in all 4 happening in 1 series.

They have no chance. They had no chance last year either.

The Warriors have gotten better and the Spurs have gotten slightly worse than last season.

The Spurs are much better than last year. People forget that the Spurs were still reeling from Tim being done last playoffs. I think the Western bracket looks different had they had this front court instead of the one last season.

Difference is that a) Parker used to be a pretty good defender, especially on elite PGs (like he wasn't even horrible last season on Westbrook) and b) the Spurs have long since learned to compensate.

People keep overlooking c) Thomspon. He'll guard Klay, just like he usually does.

When have Kyrie and Steph been healthy in the same series?
