Wow. So is Wall usually in the loop with player movement/aquisitions? I wonder if he's simply 'in the loop' or if he has some sway in that area, too?

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

.

That being said, Boogie's agent, Jarinn Akana (who used to play at my alama mater, University of Hawai'i) says this:

Those late picks are nothing (Cavs & Memphis will be in the 20s, while Portland (with Boogie) would be in the 10-15 range. Plus, Crabbe has a horrible deal.

What about Boogie for Jimmy+Bulls pick?

You This is what annoys me the most, late picks are nothing, but then people bitch about trading picks at all. Like Look, its like this you have a blacked out candy jar, with 30 pieces of candy in it. You want a double bubble piece, whats the best way to get one? get more chances to pick out of the jar. 3 young cheap players on cheap deals is valuable they are assets you can move later on. Crabe is 23-24 Yes he has a big money deal but he is young and he might come around. Same with leonard. Its a good trade. Plus if they wanted to package those picks and move up they can. Shoot if someone offered me 3 firsts for a basket case Center with a temper I'd take it and run. and what deals worse a 24 year old crabe at 18 mill a year when he can still improve or a 32 year olf temple at 8 mill a year? temple.

That first will only end up being ten picks better than ours. We're going to see Ibaka and Cousins moved for a trash pick and filler and we're going to end up doing the same for 1.5 years of 30 year old Lou Will.

Christ. Why do we miss every opportunity?

I guess Boston are keeping their 1sts for Butler or George. Can't say I blame them really. If i had any inkling one of those two could be had, there is no way i'd shoot my wad early for Cousins.

I guess this proves we're in a buyers market, too. Which is good for us if we want to load the bench some more with our meagre tradeable assets.

Seriously, the fact that the Kings couldn't even take Ernie to the woodshed for Cousins speaks really damn poorly of both them and Cousins because Ernie is the king of bidding against himself.

Another example of people underestimating the value of first rounders (not even lottery) in the new cap.

We should be able to get a player/players much better than Lou or Boban.

You saying good or bad, boss?

Cousins loves to jack shots up. He like the Big Jordan Crawford.

Watch the Celtics get Paul George a day after we give up our first for Lou Will.

I really don't want to do that trade anymore. Too much potential for us to just take a first round L regardless. We need to save what we have to acquire an actual superstar. Maybe we can package Oubre, whoever we pick this summer and our 18 pick and filler for a big upgrade next year. I'm over a trash win now rental.

Is redundant. But it will make for a really interesting experiment.

I love this deal for them though. They gave up absolutely nothing for him and they get him for a year and a half to see if anything pans out. They weren't winning anything before. There is no downside. If it doesn't work out, they can deal him at the next deadline and recoup most of what they gave up for him.

WOW, Tyreke Evans may be getting bought out by Sacramento according to Twitter:

Read on Twitter

I know he's not a great fit next to Wall, but he'd be a massive improvement as a bench scorer here.
