It would be epic if the Kings knock out the Pelicans for the 8th spot.

Hey guys,

Do you all still feel like you wont need to add another big using the empty roster spot?

Myers has said on multiple occasions that they'll look to see if any of the buyout players can help. If so, I don't think the Warriors will be hesitant to pick up a player or two. It all depends on who's out there.

So I heard some Kings insider stuff on this^^^

Basically the guy who leans in is a kings or guy. He was letting Cousins know that he may be asked about the trade in this interview.

So he already knew in this video, but he did not know about the trade until probably before the game.

If we're making moves to plan against the 8th spot, then we are in trouble.

Having said that though, most of us have always believed the Warriors would try and grab a good big man who has been bought out, regardless of this trade.

Boogie + AD has potential to be the best big man pairing since prime Z-Bo + prime Gasol. Honestly, they have a serious claim to potentially being Duncan/Robinson part 2.

That is just potential though. I personally think they'll figure it out and they're both insanely talented players so I'm sure they'll mesh...but to what extent? Will be a really interesting time for the NBA.

BEST 4-5 Duo since Duncan and Robinson?

has the potential to be. Not sure Gentry is the right coach now though

Really dont buy that (the inside info). That's not a "you may get a question about this trade you know about" face. That's a "the trade has been finalized" kinda face.

If its the same guy who's claiming he's got inside sources for every single rumor.. yeah. Not having it. I got a lot of stuff that never made it here or to the regular news cycle, but you know what I never heard about because EVERY NBA team keeps it secret: anything relating to a trade.

There's another one where he's addressing a lot of Sac beat reporters and broke down.

I feel for the guy. He's a heart-on-his-sleeve type, and because he has a temper, that gets him into trouble on the court and sometimes off. But you can tell he really wanted to stay in Sacto, which is pretty rare. And they dealt him for Hield and a 1st..

Vivek is literally killing this franchise. Since he bought the team, he did one thing correctly: he kept them in Sacramento. Ever since that win, he has been destroying that franchise piece by piece in an effort to be Joe Lacob II.. but Lacob brought in guys like Jerry West and high profile agent Bob Myers to run the team, as well as boffo COO Rick Welts (we got lucky on that one, thankfully his man lived very close to SF).

Vivek brought in failed GM Chris Mullin, failed assistant GM Pete D'Alessandro, successful coach Mike Malone (who they fired so they could bring in George Karl), failed coach George Karl, and now failing GM Vlade Divac. Who, let's not pretend here, is just a puppet for Vivek to run the team.

Message to Vivek: Dont be seen, and don't be heard. Pretend you're a Milford man. Hire someone like Hinkie to run the team while you collect money and promote your beautiful daughter's singing. That's it. And then when someone who actually knows basketball builds your team up correctly, THEN, and only then, pop your head out of the shadows and get that attention and admiration you so desperately crave.

Could be, but they asked the pr guy what he told him, and basically thats what he said. Could be a CYA thing for sure.

Does he have a management track record?

Someone posted his tweets over the years, when he thought players like Michael Carter Williams and Jimmer Fredette were going to be stars.

So for the Lakers' sake, he better rely on professional talent evaluation people.

Everyone in Cali wants to be us except the Clippers.

Everything Vivek does he wants to compare to the Warriors, like he's finding hidden gems that remind him of Warriors
Lakers OTOH are literally poaching our ranks.. which is 10000000x smarter

Curry should troll Vivek and tell him the key to his success is farting into a scuba tank that he breathes later.. I guarantee there'd be 15 scuba tanks out at the next Kings' practice.

I think the Lakers did good here getting a first rounder for Lou. Good job Magic.

I wonder if now Magic will try and pull West back into the Lakers fold, and away from us?
