Imma just be optimistic: at least the report isn't that Embiid is dead! That'll be the case in the next few weeks!

Didn't JoJo also say his knee swelled up from time to time during this absence though? Shouldn't really be that alarming given he's recovering from a bone bruise AND minor meniscus tear.

Top 3 worst record please.

I hope for two things:

1) that this is the tank in full effect, and that Embiid's career isn't going to just be these knee and foot injuries

2) that if it is the tank, Embiid's ok with it, and not pissed off at the team holding him back when he's healthy. That could be an irreparable relationship down the road.

What tank, Sixers will win meaningless game down the stretch as usual unless they find a way to sit Saric and Covington.

I do hope the league find a way to fine these bozos for sitting these guys out. **** morons!!

This is very predictable....might as well sit Embiid for the rest of the year and showcase the hell out of Okafor.

The medical staff needs to be replaced

Welp, looks like I'll be spending the rest of my spring playing Horizon Zero Dawn and Zelda. See you dudes at the draft lottery.

Ideally, I'd like to Embiid to get at least a handful of games in RoS but that's prob not gonna happen.

If he's out, should he still win RoY? Or does Saric win it?

At least this finally opens up consistent minutes for Noel.

We need to send all the bigs to Qatar.

Fingers crossed they are trying to tank and being overly cautious. To accept otherwise means Embiid still has swelling a month later after sitting out back to backs and being on a minutes restriction all season and missing two full seasons before appearing in his first NBA game. There has to at least be some doubt now as to whether he can ever play a full season.

Is it really the Medical staff? or is it management?

Watch them make up some kind of excuse after the MRI and shut him down for the season. Then next week announces he will have surgery.

lol Jah is still recovering from what the medical staff did to his knee. If we follow that same path Embiid might be back in 2 years.

If he ends up having surgery they won't have to make an excuse.

If the MRI is clean then it will be clean. If it isn't clean then he shouldn't play until it is.

In those 10 games: +15.2 with him, -7.4 without him.

Sixers are great with him but there's just no point if he can't stay healthy.

Reminds me so much of Greg Oden's situation with Portland. He put up some really numbers with the Blazers early on when he played as well.

I hope the other guys play as hard as possible and win us even more games. I hope we fail to get a Top 3 pick and I hope we don't get the Lakers pick either. This team does not deserve to have success in any way. Management is a friggin disgrace and we all should be ashamed. They lie all the time and don't even have the courage to tell us, that Biid is done for the season. Management has no class and they don't now what they are doing. I'm so pissed and so disappointed right now. WOW...

No embiid, no simmons, sad days for Philly fans. Embiid was a joy to watch.
