Bogdan Bogdanovic Signs With Fenerbahce For 17-18 Despite Kings' Interest

Bogdan Bogdanovic has signed with the Fenerbahce for the 17-18 season. The deal contains a buyout worth more than $1 million.

The Sacramento Kings own the draft rights to Bogdanovic and had expected to bring him over to the NBA for the 17-18 season.

Well a million buyout option, so I guess its possible.

Pray Joerger doesn't have a stroke and collect ping pong balls next season while we have a pick anyways,

If I'm not wrong you can only pay $500k towards a buy out from a foreign club.

If he works out a payment agreement to pay his former club with his NBA salary, he could do it himself. That kind of depends on his motivation.

The Kings almost need him to come over they need some bright spots and players with upside since they don't really control their own picks and aren't a free agent destination.

Read an interview from Bogdan today in which he said he'd talk about it more in the summer after the season is over.
My feeling is that he plans to join the Kings.

What do you expect him to say?
He is in the middle of the season playing for a team that competes in the highest euro level.
Not a good timing for future plans
