I wonder if he falls to us, do we take a chance on him knowing he won't be ready this year but could eventually have gotten the best DB from the draft?

On one hand it would be hard to pass that up, especially considering the talent, on the other, hes an injured player, ACL isnt the major surgery it used to be but its not guaranteed. I'd be torn but I would like the pick either way. Hard to go yet another season without a strong secondary, even if hes back in 2018 thats one more season of Rodgers without a strong D. I honestly think the Packers take Watt in the 1st if hes there, seems like a perfect fit.

I wouldn't be mad at picking Sidney Jones if he falls that far assuming we have a top 10 grade on him. (I also wouldn't be mad if they didn't take him) However, I would be disappointed in this deep draft to miss out on an impact player NOW.

If it comes down to Sidney Jones and Watt, I am either taking Sidney Jones or trading down.

Rd 1. Watt OLB
2. Williams (drug concerns apparently) DE/OLB
3. Chidobe Awuzie CB
4. Adam Shaheen TE
5. Roderick Johnson OT
5. Rasul Douglas CB,
6.Donnel Pumphrey RB
7. Darius English OLB

undrafted:
Ishmael Zamaora WR
Cameron Johnston P
Sojourn Shelton CB

I look forward to getting none of these right. lol

I think Awuzie is long gone at that point. His stock keeps rising.

Thats true.. any way we package a couple picks and move up to a late 2nd/early 3rd?

Maybe our one of our 4th round picks with our 5th rounder? Picks for picks trades always throw me off. Id love to have Watt, Williams and Awuzie as our rookies though, lots of potential

I know this much if Sidney Jones falls to the 2nd.....I'm trading up to get him.

It's an Achilles for Jones not an acl. To me that's much worse and drops him farther in the draft. Really horrible for the young dude.

This is who the pundits have us taking since the updates of free agency. I would not be disappointed.

I've seen forrest lamp mocked to the pack at the end of the 1st. Not sure how I would feel about that pick. On one hand if he can be a stud G day 1 he solves that issue and its important to keep rodgers on his feet. But man i really hate the group of cbs left in FA so it would be tough to pass one up in favor of a G. If they do pass up a cb in rd 1 then pass rush would be an acceptable alternative.

I suspect this is just knee-jerk reaction to seeing Lang gone from click-baiting mock draft sites. If the Packers don't draft edge rushers or cornerbacks the first three rounds, I'm going to be pi$$ed.

If our plan was to let go of Lang and spend a 1st on a guard I will be very disappointed. Either you value the position or you don't. If you do pay your best guard, if you don't you dont use a 1st round pick on one.

They're never drafting a guard in the first round. TT is smarter than that.

I saw that mock. It was posted on the other Packers forum I frequent and it was written BEFORE FA.

FYI it didn't get better after the 1st round

As much as I want to upgrade our defense, if it happens like this....I want Mike Williams.

This can't be realistic. Excluding OJ Howard, the best offensive player in the draft by far imo...and maybe even better than Howard.

I love Taco(s).

Seriously though, I think he's going to be really good. Always was impressed when watching Michigan games,

What scares me is he had 3 fantastic games, but outside of those 3 games he was nowhere to be found.

If the draft goes like this and Mike Williams is gone I would be content with Taco....but I would be pretty disappointed letting Mike Williams go.

Are we just overlooking the fact that he's cheating on us with another Packer forum?

I have a feeling Peppers goes before our pick.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
