I suspect this is just knee-jerk reaction to seeing Lang gone from click-baiting mock draft sites. If the Packers don't draft edge rushers or cornerbacks the first three rounds, I'm going to be pi$$ed.

I saw that mock. It was posted on the other Packers forum I frequent and it was written BEFORE FA.

FYI it didn't get better after the 1st round

Are we just overlooking the fact that he's cheating on us with another Packer forum?

Lol. In my defense it's ALOT more active then this one.

Since free agency, combine, interviews, pro days, and Sidney Jones unfortunate injury I am seeing:

Good for us:
-Mike Williams falling out of top 10 to 20+
-Marlon Humphrey 26-30
-Jabrill Peppers in the 2nd round
-Teez Tabor in the 2nd round
- Tre’Davious White in the 2nd round
-Carl Lawson in the late 2nd round
-Tim Williams going in the 50-60 range of most mock drafts
-Alvin Kamara 2nd round
-Desmond King 2nd/3rd round
-Jordan Willis 2nd/3rd round
-Quincy Wilson 3rd round
-Sidney Jones going anywhere from 24 to 86
-JuJu Schuster 3rd/4th round
- Three tight ends, three running backs, and three QBs gone before our pick
-Duwane smoot is free falling

Bad for us:
-Hasson Reddick possibly in the top ten
-Reuben Foster not falling far enough for us
- a lot of the pass rushers gone by the time we pick

This would leave us with way too many options but:
-If Mike Williams falls to us, I take him
-If no Mike Williams, I take Marlon Humphrey

If not and the draft is playing out like this:

-Trade down and take Tim Williams or Tabor
-2nd round Jordan Willis or Desmond King
3rd round Sidney Jones, if he is gone take JuJu
4th round Duwane Smoot
-The picks I got from trading down are used on oline

Peppers in the 2nd round??

Oh man I could see him in a hybrid role like Hyde was but X10 better.

I want Watt with our pick (no homer). We got a chance to see him for something like 20 games in his career. That's a big sample to study someone, and I have little doubt he'll make an impact as a pass rusher in the NFL, while having the agility to drop back into passing lanes well enough. He had an explosive first step, used his hands to shuck guys, sported a spin move, swim move, bull rush, was agile, and had a hell of a motor. Our defense really dipped since we had someone like Matthews to regularly cause havoc in the back field. Perry is alright, but we need someone better and on both sides to get consistent pressure. Obviously cb is the bigger need, but would like to see Ted address that in fa still given we already have prospects and it's hard to get a viable #1 corner that low.

I wouldn't mind trading up in the 3rd Rd if Sidney Jones is still on the board. I doubt he falls to us at #93 but could drop into the late 60s early 70s. Depending on how many gapping holes we still have after TT is done with free agency will determine if we can use a n early pick on a lottery ticket like Jones.

As for the 1st Rd, I think we are realistically looking at Humphrey, White or Carlton. Personally I would go with a CB and hope
either Tim Williams or Tyus Bowser are still on the board when we pick at #61. If not, trade back 6-8 spots and take Jones. Then target Biegel with one of our next three picks since I actually prefer him to Watt. He just has great instincts, a high motor and always seems to be around the ball. All he lacks is the last name and he is a borderline 1st Rd pick.

Due diligence....I suspect it is similar to Spriggs where if he fell into the 2nd Ted may trade up for him. I realize most think that is crazy but considering he just had hip surgery a couple of months ago and couldn't really work out for teams at the combine he may fall. Last year this time Spriggs was suppose to go between 15-30 and we got a steal in the 2nd....if we can do it again I am all for it in the 2nd, not the first.

I'm hoping we can draft Biegel in the 4-5th rounds. I would also be interest in Clement as a between the tackles RB who could compliment Montgomery.

Howard going in the top-4? When's the last time a TE ever went that high? Ebron is the last prospect I can remember that was as hyped up and he still only went 10th overall.

Vernon Davis at 6 is the highest I recall. Most of this board wanted him at 5 (Kellen Winslow went 6th as well)

Could definitely see Howard in the top 10. Great in game action, can block and run and catch, with great measurements, with a great combine. No locker room issues. Wonder if the other TE's like Njoku and Engram will go in the first round.

McCaffrey being mocked as high as he is is a bummer.

I've seen him mocked anywhere from 13 to 32. Really don't think we're gonna get a good picture of his stock until right before the draft when the rumors start flying.
