Coaches are literally the first people blamed. Then star players then the rest of the squad. That's why coaching turnover is high.

Cousins is a low post big that can hit the 3 and is an elite passer. AD is a perimeter big that can pass the ball and is a good passer. Why are people so quick to say they don't fit and ignoring the fact they literally have no type of talent on their team besides those 2? Why are we blaming fit less than 10 games in?

Two high usage bigs that operate and like the same spots on the floor sounds iffy to me, but I don't think any sensible basketball fan is judging their fit after such a short amount of time.

If the Lakers get the #2 pick and Lonzo Ball is still on the board, D'Angelo is going to be playing for another team on opening night.

I've seen people say, Lonzo would allow D'Angelo to move to the shooting guard position, but to be honest Clarkson would be a much better fit next to Lonzo.

Knicks should at least try Melo for Deng and Ingram/Russell.

The way it's currently looking, the Lakers would also ask the Knicks to take Mozgov's contract off their hands.

The Knicks can also trade Derrick to the Lakers for Ingram/Russell and possibly a pick on draft night, since the Knicks would have the cap space to absorb Deng or Mozgov's contract

Why would Melo waive his no trade to play with the Lakers?

I'd want more than Deng/Ingram, but they could potentially link Wade with Melo for the all-washed team for their quest to the 8th seed. Magic is that awful.
Brooklyn Nets
Damian Lillard - Rajon Rondo - Trey Burke
Victor Oladipo - Wes Matthews - Javon Carter
Caris LeVert - Derrick Jones Jr. - Glenn Robinson III
Andre Igoudala - Killian Tillie - Trey Lyles
Joel Embiid - Taj Gibson - Kevon Looney

He probably wouldn't but who knows. Why would he stay?

How is he awful already?

He's actually doing the right thing by losing games and shutting down vets. If you want awful, that's a scenario Phil would do. Just like the washed up Rose and Noah additions he made. Or giving washed up Melo a NTC.

Melo likely stays because he loves being in NY. If he leaves it won't be to play for the Lakers even if Wade landed there. They are garbage.

Not totally sure. He sits down with Magic and Pelinka, they tell him how he can start over and help their young team grow.

Lakers wanting him is very iffy, as is Melo wanting to go admittedly, but since LA may not have its pick next year, not much to lose for them. Getting out of Deng would be big.
