So far we've landed an elite KR with gimmick potential as a WR3/4 and we're now hosting one of the better ILBs, and one of the better pass-catching TEs in Jared Cook.

Here's my revised wish-list:

Zach Brown (ILB) - 3 years, 21m
Perry Riley (ILB) - 2 years, 7m
Jared Cook (TE) - 3 years, 15m
Jonathan Hankins (DT) - 3 years, 24m
Brad McDougald (SS) - 3 years, 15m
Adrian Peterson (HB) - 2 years, 12m
trade a 6th rounder for Mychal Kendricks and a 7th rounder

cut: Dan Williams, Ben Heeney

So going into the draft we'd look like:
QB - Carr / Cook
HB - AP / D-Wash / Richard
FB - Olawale
WR - Cooper / Crabtree / Roberts / CPatt
TE - Walford / Cook / Smith (3-headed TE, Walford being solid all-around, Smith the blocker, Cook the pass catcher)
LT - Penn / Newhouse
LG - Osemeli / Alexander
C - Hudson / Feliciano
RG - Jackson / Feliciano
RT - Howard / Kirkland
LE - Mario Edwards / Denico Autry
NT - Hankins / Jelly / (DT - Jihad/Latham)
RE - Mack / Autry
SLB - Irvin / Calhoun / Cowser
ILB - (Z. Brown/P. Riley) / C. James
WLB - M. Kendricks / N. Ball
CB - (Amerson/S. Smith) / TJ Carrie / Dexter McDonald
FS - Joseph / R Nelson
SS - McDougald / R Nelson

Under contract for 4.8m with the Eagles but they are desperately shopping him, they are not going to keep him

Jared Cook is a Raider.

I think GB upgraded the TE position by letting him walk but I think we upgraded ours with him here.

Waiting on dollar figures.

Not bad at all. Cook has had 2 good seasons - one with Aaron Rodgers, one with Matt Hasselbeck. Brace yourself then read the rest of the QBs that have thrown to him in his career. GREAT buy low here.

Nate Allen gone, too - Nate Allen, after renegotiating his salary, was a big help last season in a pinch. Will we be drafting a free safety and a right offensive tackle?

I hate seeing any depth go and depth that we need.
However, Watson received big money.

Broncos signed OT Menelik Watson, formerly of the Raiders, to a two-year, $12.25 million contract.
He also has a $6.125M option for 2019. The Broncos needed a tackle after letting Russell Okung escape to Los Angeles. Watson logged 255 snaps for Oakland last year, mostly playing at right tackle. The Broncos have now made two big moves to beef up their line by adding Watson and former Cowboys guard Ronald Leary. Watson has had a hard time staying healthy, appearing in just 37 games since entering the league in 2013. A weak tackle market dictated that Watson would get overpaid.

Menelik Watosn, I don't miss at all, high draft pick and he could never even win the starting spot. Always injured, not reliable.

TE is an area of need. This probably means we will not draft a TE this summer?

RB, I actually like the Richard/Washington/Olawale group. If you need to just pound it in I think Olawale can do that.

Raiders don't need to sign an RB, but if we can get someone like Pererson or Charles on a short deal, that would be great.

Dan Williams is making 8m a season and playing at a replacement player's level. If we were to sign a DT like Hankins, Dan would likely be gone for someone more cost effective.

Heeney's making very little but he was supplanted by James last year, who converted over to the ILB role, and its unlikely we keep 2 backup ILBs unless Heeney stands out in ST.

We officially signed ILB/WLB Jelani Jenkins today. Terms unknown at this time. Decent LB with a track record of injury.. but still very young, only 25 y/o.

Timeline:

- Marshawn Lynch talks to Seattle
- Marshawn Lynch talks to Oakland, informing them he wants to un-retire
- Seattle GM John Schneider indicates in an interview that Lynch only wants to play for the Raiders

So we're pretty much locked in on having a Carr - Lynch - Cooper - Crabtree - Cook type offense. WOW.

Here's something else: the Seahawks have been rumored to be shopping Richard Sherman around... what if we got 2 for 1?

Would you be willing to give up your best o-lineman & a pick?

Rumor is the team wants a player & high pick in return. Lineman & your first might work!

I cant throw in a player for Sherman. I could give up a pick for him. Hopefully he is healthy this year AND hopefully he was legitimately injured. Last year wasnt his best.

League's leverage is that the draft is deep at corner and I have a feeling one will be on our board at one of our first 2 picks.

The numbers would say otherwise. Maybe not his best season. But he still graded out as the best, again as the numbers would say. There's no way I would trade the guy unless a team put forth a "great" offer. He's way too valuable. The team knows this. Thus, he hasn't been traded atm.

Sherman has been asked to track some receivers this season, and overall, he has allowed a passer rating of only 59.1 when targeted, remaining the league’s toughest corner to complete a pass on, going 16.2 snaps in coverage for every reception he allows—the best mark in the league, and 1.4 snaps higher than the next-best figure.

Ok so PFF who said that but for other reasons didn't grade him out in the top 5 or 10.

Not even the top 15 IIRC.
