The dude is a point guard; how built do you need him to be?

do you think lonzo is going to come into the season the same weight he is today?
ball is 6'6 he'll be doing the bullying.

this is what people fail to realize.

Ball is going to force the other team's point guard to defend, and he's probably taller than all of them.

A point guard that is capable of getting his own, and thinks assists first, scoring second is a dangerous player in the NBA.

Ball is the real deal, he just dictates the game with his vision.

The shooting is a bonus with this guy.

If Lakers lose their pick does dad Ball send his son back for his soph season?

So to sum it up, Ball's profile went up and tatum's went down? Anybody else play that's in our range in terms of first rounders

After tonight, I would say the hype-o-meter has the draft looking like:

1. Ball
2. Jackson
3. Fultz
4. Fox
5. Tatum

Of course pre-draft workouts will shift things a smidge. DSJ will have his name back in the mix I would assume. Frank, too.

I read somewhere that he already hired an agent for Ball. Ball couldn't come back if he wanted to.

Ball is disgustingly good. So good, I am begging the NBA gods find a way for LA Lakers to screw up. Though Magic won't fall for the same trap and let a talent like KP slip by.

I there a chance Markkanen goes top5?

It would be really good for us.

Doubt it. None of the lottery teams ahead of us have a real pressing need for a big..Maybe the Lakers and Orlando are exceptions here but no way they pass on Fultz,Jackson, or Ball for him

How much weight is he putting on that slouchy frame though? He looks like a guy in the YMCA gym.

His body type is very MCW. Not trying to be an azz and compare him strictly to light skin dudes lol. He's not a great finisher in the paint so don't see him overpowering dudes. I think he's gonna have some real trouble offensively in nba. I also think people need to chill with the kidd comps. Kidd is a HOFer. People od with these comps man.

Anyway highly doubt ball drops out of top 3 and knicks would be super lucky to get a pick that high so not banking on it. Just don't see him as a can't miss guy.

I don't see any change in the top 3 (other than maybe order). The rest of the guys will have to play a lot better (even the one's that played great) to knock out one of the top 3 guys from their roost and I just don't see that happening. Another reason why the Knicks need to do the best they can to try to get a shot of getting into the top 3. There is a big difference between the top 3 and the next group. Any one of the top 3 guys can jump start the Knicks back to life. The rest? A whole lot of risk and varying degrees of impact, none of which come close to be as risk free or impactful as the top 3 guys will be. So, while, yeah, it'll be nice if we get the 5th or 6th pick or whatever compared to the 8th or 9th pick, at the end of the day, the needle movers are the top 3 guys. Jackson and the Knicks need to go into full Hinkie tank mode. Forget about what happens in the West Coast trip, start Randle, Baker, NDour, Kuzminskas and Plumlee now!!! No one will think badly of you especially if the full assault tank leads to a top 3 pick.
