I would do it if the Celtics were willing to give the Knicks both picks for this year and next and also get rid of Noah

After the lottery I would consider it if both were top 3. The fact that we already have another big in Hernangomez makes it intriguing.

Now - no. Not a chance. Need to know the numbers.
BAF Clippers
PG: CP3 | SGA
SG: SGA | Big Ragu
SF: J Brown | Dorture Chamber
PF: Gordon | Niang
C: Capela | Sharpe

Deep Bench - Forrest | Oladipo | Fernando | Young | Svi | Cody Martin

For one BKN pick assuming it is #1, na. For 2 BKN picks assuming one pick is #1 or #2, you gotta consider it, but comes down to how you feel about Ball AND another top player.

On the flip side, if the picks are as good as they are supposed to be, no way Boston is offering it.

It reminds me of the discussion about whether to trade for Garapolo from NE. If the Pats are willing to trade him, then he obviously isn't that good/important.

It's a good point. You can see how their pick this year does on the court next season, so you'd have a better idea, and then also see where the next pick falls, before trading KP. But then Boston is acquiring a guy who is going into his final rookie-contract year before a big contract (presumably, if they're even willing to do the trade).

Usually, yes, you're right, but not always. The Suns happily traded Kidd for Marbury.

They basically had to because of Kidd's legal issues. It's like when GS traded us Spree. They had to move the player.

They have to take Melo as well, and give 17 + 18 BK picks, and their picks in 2020, 2022, 2024 + Jaylen Brown.

Sure, but the odds are that the BK pick will be in the top 3. I agree that trading KP for DSJr or Tatum is a bad move, but trading KP for DSJr/Tatum, Brown, and next year's BK pick is not bad at all IMO.

oh I still think that is a horrible trade for us. Tatum/DSjr have potential but not nearly in the KP range. Brown might be a solid rotational player. And then you would be banking on the 2018 brooklyn pick to hit high in the lottery again. I don't think Tatum, Brown, and the potential Brooklyn pick is anywhere near the value KP has.

Disagree. I think Tatum is going to be better than KP. I don't know about DSjr.

Good. I stand by my ****. I was wrong on Mario. Right on Mudiay. Looking right on WCS. Was wrong as fuq on Russell. Right about Winslow and it's still up in the air on Jah(Embid).

Tatum will be better than KP. Write it down, take a picture, IDGAF! (Smoky voice)

If Tatum look like Tony Snell you still think he better than KP?
