I like him too. He reminds me of the loudmouth old heads from my Barbershop when I was a kid. He should have his own show.

Lonzo will go wherever he's drafted. It won't work if he tried to say he won't go to a certain team. People need to stop this narrative.

We did not start the narrative, Lavar did. In fact as of yesterday on Sportsnation, Lavar said that his son would absolutely not go to Sacramento if they drafted him. But I guess he did not know that there is really is no way Sacramento can even draft Lonzo. But, he still said it. So it is HE..not us bringing this up.

I'm sure he will have a reality show with his kids. I already have the name. Ball in the Family.

I heard Lavar said he wanted Lonzo to only play for the Lakers because that's what he(Lavar) wants. Lavar said he would go to any team that drafts him. But even if Lavar did say the Sixers better not draft my son he would still get drafted by the Sixers if Ball is still there and the Sixers like him the best and want him. The only players who can make it tougher are foreign players because they could stay overseas longer. An American born player isn't going to go overseas instead of the NBA nor would they sit out. I have no worries about drafting Ball whether his dad likes it or not.

I don't like him. In that clip he is just joking around, and if he is truly joking around with most of his stuff then that is fine.

However, he is hurting his kid with all of this flamboyant narcissism. He needs to stop making himself into a celebrity on the backs of his kids. I think that he is so cringe worthy that it gives me pause that his son isn't cringing at this stuff because if Lonzo approves of this then I am worried about him too. I'd draft him. Don't get me wrong, but I would fear for him in the locker room if he was like his dad.

There's no reason why this guy should get airtime for anything.

He gets ratings. Without any knowledge I bet today's First Take was the highest rated this week. He wouldn't be talked to if he didn't bring eyeballs and ears. He's a quote machine. He's great for the media. He always gives you something to talk about. This is the world we live in for better or for worse lol.

If we are lucky enough to draft Lonzo just get ready for the local media to interview Lavar and for him to have a weekly spot on one of the local radio stations lol. If we lose or not that good Lavar won't hesitate to say who's to blame. Brett Brown or Ben Simmons or whoever could feel his wrath lol. You will listen though.

And as I was saying. Lavar is a ratings grabber. You all know you want to tune in to hear what he has to say because you want to know what he will say if he is asked if Lonzo gets drafted by the Sixers. Lie and say you don't want to hear his answer lol. The hosts better ask him too. They better ask what he thinks of Embiid and Simmons.

The dumbing down of society continues.

His kid is a great talent...I probably take him at #1, but the old man is intolerable.

LaVar Ball is a marketing genius. He'll have a reality show and make bank from that soon enough. He's taking a small bit of celebrity and parlaying it into much more, ala the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, etc.

He has vision. Being nice only puts money in Nike's pockets. He knows haters gonna hate anyway. All press is good press. His son shoots the basketball and acts like a gentleman, while he is the Carnival Barker that takes all the heat. They're going to be laughing all of the way to the bank this time next year.

Jordan Bell is the most confusing basketball player in recent memory IMO

He has some really good attributes like his relentless hustle on both ends of the floor and his ability to block shots and get offensive rebounds

But he might have one of the lowest BBIQs I've ever seen from any 1st round prospect coming out of college.

He took an absolutely horrible shot against Michigan tonight, it was almost like something you'd do in Horse or in warmups. He like threw it over his shoulder while he was facing the opposite direction of the basket and just hoped it would go in I guess?

And in a typical Jordan Bell sequence, the shot doesn't go in, he already knows it isn't going in the second he lets it go, he explodes to the rebound and gets better position in the process, and then finishes with a simple layup off glass as the Michigan defender just kind of gave up.

Jordan Bell's best offense is getting offensive rebounds followed by easy baskets.

Which is damn near impossible to do in the playoffs against legit NBA teams

Sure, he is an exciting shot blocker, but so was Jarvis Varnado in college

I want nothing to do with this guy, although as a fan of Oregon basketball I do like him in college

Just my 2 cents

It's sad how dumb our society is. From the Kardashians to Milo to this guy. So many low IQ individuals that will tune in for this garbage.

Why is this something that you would want for the team you root for? Do you live in Philadelphia? Anyone who is at all familiar with the Philly media should realize something like this has the potential to destroy a team here. Just let them play basketball.

And no I actively avoid everything about this guy.

Wait Skip Bayless isn't on First Take anymore?

Haven't watched that show in a while. Can't stand Screamin A. Smith

Oh Kellerman is on there now. That's a safe move by ESPN. A race apologist paired up with Screamin A

Sounds like a good time

wow West Virginia is hard to watch on offense

Gonzaga is hard to watch period, they've made so many mistakes since I came over from the Oregon game

Welp, another Zag turnover off a missed free throw rebound

Horrible game to watch tbh

The dumbing down of this society was already confirmed on this past election day. What some basketball player's dad says has no effect.

Average IQ scores have actually been going up since the 1930s. Look up the flynn effect. Drug use among adolescents is down, peaceful parenting is now the norm, nutrition has improved tremendously, teaching methods have improved, etc. All of these things contribute to better brain development and thus higher IQ scores. Our society isn't dumbing down, it's getting smarter. We think it's dumber because the dumb people now have access to social media, so they can spread their stupidity around the world.

Wow this is the sloppiest game I've seen in a while

Mark Few looks like a high school geometry teacher

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
